In Battle Royal there seems to be an excess of players that are unaware of which heroes are better suited to taking the support role or picking up an IGC.
Usually those heroes are deadly without any or minimal(1 or 2) offensive items.
Let's start with Taka because he is unusual. If you get Taka on your team and no conflict with double damage types, let that Taka go CP and take IGC. CP Taka is worth **** for farming, he needs that damn IGC money and you'll get the best out of him in late game.
Next are Krul, Alpha, & Ozo. Right now these 3 brawlers are beasts and IMO do better with more of defense/health items and just 1 or 2 attack speed or CP/WP items.
And just in general, I go by with whatever hero can do without boots, this frees up an item slot for that extra utility/damage. They either have such poor movement or maneuverability or they have above average maneuverability except Vox/Ringo, those two always need boots but for other high mobility heroes like Fortress & Koshka, forego that purchase. Skaarf & SAW & Phinn (in the event you get 2+ support orientated heroes)are good siege examples, and perhaps any hero with long range siege potential with no escapes. They can harass and safely whittle down turrets, which doesn't happen too often as the enemy usually realizes this and someone feels they have no option but to jump out from the safety of their turret or they get forcibly drawn out(Phinn).
Lastly consider which heroes usually perform well with a AfterShock/BrokenMyth & Bonesaw/BP, typically those heroes also need defense/utility to survive long enough to reap the benefits of item stacks, you may as well take the support role in this scenario.
