Announcing Arena8, The Premier League For East Asia Vainglory ESports

Super Evil Megacorp is proud to announce the formation of Arena8, East Asia’s premier league for Vainglory esports. Fans will be able to watch the best teams of East Asia battle it out for regional dominance in this exciting new level of competition.

In the Winter Preseason, the Arena8 will feature four teams from Vainglory Premier League Korea and the four teams of Gamers League Prime Autumn in Japan. These top teams will compete for a $15,000 USD prize pool.

Starting in 2017, the Arena8 will be held every season and will include the top teams from the East Asia server region. Participants will come from:

Korea: Challengers Korea
Japan: Gamers League Masters
Taiwan/ Hong Kong/ Macau region: TBD challengers league

Players will have a chance to join by applying to the Challenger League in their region. The most successful teams from Arena8 will qualify for the 2017 Vainglory World Championship.
