Krul 3/10, he just uses his ult, his first skill, then his second skill and most of the time ends up with a kill. Just keep stunning him and use an atlas or nullwave gauntlet against him.

SAW 3/10, the only thing he does is stand there and shoot. Pretty much all you have to do with him is tap on an enemy, go AFK, then you pretty much win. So be careful when you're against him, because you can easily kill him if you find the perfect time to engage against him.

Build order Top

I'll only explain the regular end game build because if I explain all of them, then that's too much for me
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Build order:
-Oakheart, boots, and a potion(at the beginning)
-Fountain of Renewal, boots, and light armor(I usually have enough the first time I go to the jungle shop or get back to base)
-Fountain, Travel Boots, and Coat of Plates
-Fountain, Travel Boots, and Metal Jacket
-Fountain, Travel Boots, Metal Jacket, Crucible/stormcrown(if you don't have enough then get the things that builds into it)
-Fountain, War Treads, Metal Jacket, Crucible/stormcrown(or get the items that builds into them if you don't have enough gold)
-Fountain, war treads, metal jacket, crucible, stormcrown, shiversteel
NOTE: YOU CAN GET SHIVERSTEEL BEFORE CRUCIBLE OR STORMCROWN IF YOU WANT!

Builds Top

Starting off with oakheart and boots at the start is good because oakheart will give you some tankyness and boots will let you run away whenever you're in trouble.
I usually like to get shiversteel on lance because he has a root, so if you root them then use shiversteel then you can chase them; or if you have teammates with you when you do the Impale and Shiversteel combo then they can most likely secure the kill.
I don't usually get damage items on lance except for stormcrown because I like to help out my teammates and save them from danger instead of getting the kills.
The build I use mostly depends on the enemy team comp and my team. If your whole team is building only weapon then I would get Aftershock because it's good. If youre team is getting only weapon then I would get either sorrowblade or tension bow.
I already listed the build I use when the enemy team is only building weapon or crystal.

Abilities Top

Lance's passive(heroic perk) is Partisan's Technique, Lance's basic attacks pierces through any target in the direction Lance is facing. But his attacks are slow and attack speed is less effective on him. Lance doesn't use energy, but instead, he uses stamina to use his abilities. Items that boosts energy and energy regeneration will work on him(increases his stamina and stamina regeneration).
Max stamina: 100 + 20% Max Energy
Stamina Regen: 15 + 50% Energy Regen
I like to upgrade Lance's Impale first because the damage really good and because the root lasts .3 longer if you overdrive it; it lasts 0.15% longer if you're building crystal.
I would overdrive my second ability because when you overdrive it, Lance will ignore all debuts from any direction.
You could max out his combat roll but that only just lowers its cooldown(8-6-4), decrease the stamina cost(30-25-20), and increase the damage it deals(80-140-200 +60% of crystal power).

Using his abilities Top

At the beginning of the match, when you and your jungler is finished with your side of the jungle, go to the lane and stay in the bush. When the enemy laner pushes up until they're in the range of your Impale, use it, that'll most likely be a first blood(it is every time I do it).
I would engage the enemy with my Impale, combat roll, then Gythian Wall towards the rooted enemy. Or if you want to save a teammate, Impale them, then use your Gythian wall towards a wall to stun them, if you can't then try to push them away.
When you're chasing a low health enemy, try to hit your impale if your in range then use combat roll to kill them, if they're still alive then if you're near a wall then use your Gythian wall towards the wall to stun them then finish them off with a basic attack. If they're still alive after all of those techniques then JUST RUN THROUGH EVERY FREAKING TURRET AND SPAM YOUR SKILLS AND BASIC ATTACKS(or if there isn't any turrets then lucky for you, that lowers the risk of dying).

Tanking things Top

Pretty self-explanatory, just tank the damage against the gold mine, crystal miner, kraken, or whatever. You're a tank, not a crazy DPS psycho killer that goes in and dies under 0.1 seconds from the enemy team.

Threats Top

Every time I play against any heroes they aren't a problem to me. It depends on how you play, my average score with Lance is most of the time 6 kills, and 3 deaths(or worse if my teammates just suck).

Tips Top

Remember to use your Fountain whenever your teammates are low health, but if you're the only survivor and the enemy team is chasing you and you have low health, USE IT! You don't want to give them an Ace.
-Try to predict where the enemy will go when you're using Impale, if they're walking straight then lucky for you, that's a free root if you're in range.
-Use Gythian wall towards a turret/dead turret, or a wall, to stun them. It's really helpful, use the map to your advantage.
-Use combat roll to angle your Impale better, or get closer to get in range with Impale.
-Combat roll gives your basic attack extra damage for the next 2 seconds, so it's good for applying or finishing off enemies.
-Don't spam the question mark ping on your teammates because that'll just make you look like a jerk, and it's really annoying. AND it could in the the way.
-Use your war treads to help you and your teammates to run away, run into the enemy base to finish off their base, get to the kraken or gold mine faster, or simply use it for yourself for any of those reasons.
-Try to save your teammates with a Impale and Gythian Wall(I mentioned this before).
