Hey!

Welcome to my first Vain Glory guide.
Today we'll be looking at Blackfeather, an assassin who doesn't let his target escape easily.

First lets take a look at the abilities.
Instead of energy, Blackfeather uses Force which can be a problem sometimes. Imagine entering a teamfight with not enough Force to use your abilities. The crystal power also makes your basic attacks deal a bit more damage than usual, though not as much as with WP.
This ability is mainly used for catching up on fleeing enemies and ultimately finishing them off. Taking it to overdrive is completely your choice. Do you want the ability to secure a kill on a fleeing enemy, or do you want to make a bigger impact on teamfights with the extra damage from Rose Offensive.

This is the ability which really puts on impact and makes CP Blackfeather really good. Take this to Overdrive as soon as possible, because mid game is when you will be poking enemies a lot and you will need the extra range. This deals the main damage and stops enemies from fleeing away with its slow. Another use for this ability is to slow down enemies that are chasing you, though its not always the best idea, always keep your distance. Its better to use this when the enemy has full heartthrob stacks so that they have no chance of escape.

Blackfeather's ult is simply amazing. Imagine a free reflex block with 2 charges and fortifies health! Use this in teamfights when all of your enemies are huddled close together. Use it to dodge Joule's stun or simply walk out of Ardan's gauntlet. The damage isn't bad either. When escaping, keep in mind that you can use this ability to flee faster or even go through walls.

Moving on the the items.
This is the item you will want to get first. It helps to apply heartthrob stacks faster, and deal more crystal damage with every basic attack. It also aids in recharging your Force.
Along with the slow of On Point, Frostburn ensures that no enemy escapes you. The 100 CP is nothing to laugh about either.

When facing enemies with high shield, Broken Myth comes in handy. Be sure to keep getting stacks, so that your abilities deal a lot of damage.

Blackfeather needs defense otherwise he won't last very long in fights to make an impact. The barrier gained by On Point is useful, but it won't be making much of an impact in the long run. Be sure to buy defense asap!

General Tips:

*Try not to invade too much, you'll be missing out a lot of farm if you aren't successful.
*At some point you might think that you can solo the enemy team. DON'T! While Blackfeather may have a lot of power and sustain, a stun or a silence can shatter your hopes and dreams.
*Stutter-step. keep dancing on the edge of the battle, poke enemies with On Point and don't let them come too close.
*Don't hesitate to use your Ultimate when you see an enemy preparing to use a stun or a silence.

Thanks for reading my guide! Constructive criticism is appreciated.
