Introduction Top

Hey Folks, as u guys know Blackfeather is and has always been a Hero with high mobility and enough power to easily burst down carry's. He usually is played WP because he is a melee hero who is capable of following almost every ranged heroes without problems and even dodging stuns and other CC (Crowd Control) with his ultimate. BUT in this guide we want to introduce you to another side of Blackfeather and that would be laning CP. Its a different kind of playstyle and not easy to handle, but you can have a lot of fun if you master it.

Feint of Heart Top

Feint of Heart gives him the ability to close the gap and deal damage depending on applied heartthrobs and target's missing health. It also grants a rose trail with which you and your allies can chase down the target.

On Point Top

On Point is the key damage dealer of this guide. Our goal is to unleash the burst damage from his crystal ratio which scales 165% and poke enemies while keeping a safe distance and barrier.
This ability combos with On Point and Rose Offensive to poke and burst down enemies.

Priority engagement in fights:
Aiming for enemy carry hero is priority #1 however keep a safe distance and try to hit as many enemies with your On Point as you can.

Rose Offensive Top

This ability has 2 charges with which you can close the gap, deal damage to all enemies along his path. The dash also grant fortified health and block negative effects such as slows, stuns and silences.
This ability combined well with On Point will give you a lot of sustain.

Early game Top

First thing we start with a Book of Eulogies to sustain the early game damage of the enemy laners. Wait at the beginning and get an extra Halcyon Potion, don't worry you will be on lane in time and won't miss last hits.

Constantly poking the enemy laner with On Point, will help you secure the last hits without taking too much damage from ranged heros! Make sure to skill your 2nd ability whenever you can and overdrive it to get higher range!

Get a Heavy Prism as soon as possible to poke the enemy hero with constant heavy damage and pressure him on lane, so he can not farm well or rotate down into the jungle. Aim for a Shatterglass in early to get as much scaling as possible! This will allow you to force squishy heros to go for shield items and invest more gold into defensive items.

I recommend to go for tier 2 defense and boots in early, because even though you have the barrier of On Point you still will not be able to fight an aggressive early comp!

Mid Game Top

After you reached the point when you have 1. Shatterglass, 2. Broken Myth and 3. stable defense you should force fights by either pushing the lane and telling your teammates to rotate or rotate down to jungle!

Our core item build now would be:

- Shatterglass
- Broken Myth
- Atlas Pauldron
- Aegis // Fountain of Renewal. (whichever is more needed)

Pick up a crystal infusion to get more advantage!

You have to keep distance and poke the enemy constantly with your On Point to lower them and get Broken Myth stacks. Try to hit as many targets and stack as much as you can, but be careful to keep your energy up or you will find yourself in a bad spot..

When your target reach the point of 50% health, you should have at least 3 Broken Myth stacks and be able to burst in with Rose Offensive through the whole enemy team dealing heavy damage and instantly taking out the carry. Without giving them a chance to recover, use your On Point again and get the remaining enemies or clear a path for your team to go through!

Using Feint of Heart on a target will leave a rose trail which is scaling with CP and gives your team massive movement speed and the ability to chase down the remaining target! Tell your allies to walk on the rose trail!

Don't forget that you can block negative effects, especially stuns and silences with your Rose Offensive in an engage, but also in an escape!

Late game Top

Our late game build is quite situational and mainly focuses around counter-building the enemy team.

Build and use Atlas Pauldron against WP heros such like Ringo, Vox, Glaive and Krul.

Go Aegis if you face heavy crystal heros and die too fast or if you need a block for stun/silence, else go for Fountain of Renewal and time it with your support to get extra sustain!

As for the final item go for Alternating Current, so you have more attackspeed to stutter step and fill your energy bar so you can use your skills.

Don't worry about getting "atlased", because the main focus is still on your abilities!

As we said CP Blackfeather is not easy to play and you will need a lot of expierence with the different playstyle compared to WP!
