Introduction Top

Hi! I'm Rafiki134, and this is my crystal power Glaive build. This is the first build I've created, so feel free to point out any flaws. Let's get on with this guide!

Why this sort of build? Top

Most people would go for a weapon power Glaive. In my perspective, crystal power would be more suitable since he would be able to utilize his Afterburn and Blood Song more often and more effectively. His abilities would be much stronger, allowing for a better encounters with enemy players.

Build Guide Top

Starting items are now very strategic because of the new update 1.17. To throw off the enemy team, first get a Book of Eulogies. This will give the chance that the enemy team would build armor instead of shield, allowing for easy attacks later on.

Abilities are the main focus of this build, so we'll need to focus on crystal power and cooldown. After enough farming, get Sprint Boots, an [[Eclipse Prism, a [[Chronograph, and a Heavy Prism. This is to
get an early start on an Aftershock, which helps with the cooldown, energy rates, and damage, along with its 50% lifesteal.

After getting an Aftershock, start building an Eve of Harvest by getting a Heavy Prism and a Void Battery. The Eve will help you replenish your health in team fights, allowing extra endurance with the massive damage. While you're at it, upgrade to Travel Boots to cut walking time in the jungle.

Get the Eve of Harvest as soon as possible. For the next item, we'll be getting a Broken Myth, so start off by getting a Piercing Shard.

We're in the late game and things are starting to get quite powerful. Get the other part of your Broken Myth, the Heavy Prism. Then, get started on a Clockwork to greatly cut cooldown times. Start it with a Chronograph. Don't forget to finish off your boots by upgrading them to Journey Boots.

We're even later in the game, and Glaive is starting to get really powerful. Finish your Broken Myth and Clockwork.
For your last item, choose from any of these options, depending on the situation:
    a.
Crucible for more max health and timed reflex blocks for the team [Against Skaarf or Ardan etc.]
b. Shiversteel for fast heroes [most likely assassins] that can easily slip away from team fights [Against Koshka, Taka, Kestrel, Ringo etc.]
c. Alternating Current for faster attack speed and more damage on your basic attacks
d. Frostburn for fast heroes such as the ones that are showed with the Shiversteel
e. Shatterglass for colossal damage on your abilities

Conclusion Top

I hope this build helps you with using Glaive. Please leave any feedback in the comments. Thank you for reading my guide!
