Introduction Top

Hello and Welcome to this updated guide for Krul. Some People might already know that Krul is my favorite jungler, so today we updated an older guide to the newest Version to once again Show you guys the power of Krul. Lets get ahead with it!

Abilities Top

Shadows Empower Me Top

Krul is the Terror of the Jungle. His Heroic Perk allows him to dash out of a bush to enemy Targets and slows them, while he is building up Spectral Smite Stacks to quickly burst the target down.
The Undead is very tanky and his abilities allow him to stand in the middle of the fights, soaking up the damage and weakening the enemies at the same time.

Dead Mans Rush Top

Kruls first ability Dead Mans Rush grant him a small barrier (since new update it got nerved) for 2.5 sec. It is also a small gap Close, so use it wisely. The perfect use of this ability is immedeatly after an Auto attack to get one extra hit with the Auto attack cooldown reset. Do not run out of a bush with your passive charged ans use it instantly. Hit enemies with an Auto attack first then use it quickly to get 3 Auto attacks on your target very fast.

Spectral Smite Top

Kruls main ability, Specrtal Smite allows him to build up stacks on your enemies.
For every Spectral Smite stack, the enemies damage Output is decreased by 6,25% to a total of 50% at 8 Stacks, which in late game does a heavy difference if the enemy carry is full stacked. Additionally, using his B ability burns all stacks into a big burst of Crystal damage.
Remember to only use youre B ability if you are sure to kill youre enemy, else he will get his full 100% damage Output back. Therefor to get the Maximum ammount of damage with my attack Speed build, i Level up B whenever i can (exceptfor lvl.6).

From Hells Heart Top

Krul's Ultimate From Hells Heart, surely one of the most threatening Ultimates in the Halcion Fold grants him a short or Long (depending on the distance) disable (For example on lane ganks). The stun Duration gets longer the longer the sword was in the air! Use this to make insane lockdowns or just use it as a kill secure and/or for cancelling enemy spells. Still i dont overdrive his Ultimate just because his A and B grants him such high sustain boosts with the Overdrive.

Gameplay and Strategy Top

Early Game Top

In the early game you are a heavy damage bruiser! as longer the game gets the more you tranfrom into a tank because attack Speed alone wont do much damage, but still is very usefull to reduce enemy damage Outputs.
Play this hero very aggresive if the enemies didnt Counter you well. also i recommend getting one [Weapon Blade] early to get faster jungle Clearing Speed. Use youre Heroice Perk wise for ambushes and engages and Keep youre best to protect youre laner and debuff the enemy laner. If you run to a target quickly do one auto-attack and use ur A afterwards as fast as you can to get another fast auto-attack onto youre target. This way you maximize youre Efficiency and youre enemy is immedeatly cursed by 3 stacks which makes him 18,75% weaker before the fight even starts.

Mid Game Top

Once you reach Level 6 Krul has a small powerspike. You can use your Ultimate in a lot of ways, which makes this ability very valuable. Use it as a short-range stun to Close a gap or finish of a target. Use it as a Long range stun to gank the enemy laner or to help youre Team even if you are far away from the fight. Or use it the badass-pro way and through it behind you, running into youre enemy, slowing them with Shiversteel and make them get hit by the returning blade. Also start Building defense and life now because midgame is the Point where you swap to a tanky frontliner role! If your early game was good you can consider getting an early Breaking Point. This allows you to even 1vs3 enemies, but only use this item build if your early game went good. If it didnt went good build more defense before you go aggresive.

Late Game Top

Play Krul as a tank and always stand in the front to tank the damage for youre Team. in big teamfights youre Job is to stick to the enemy lane carry (or jungle carry, depending on the biggest threat) and decrease his damage with youre B ability stacks. If you can finish him, use youre B, if not dont use it like mentioned above. Debuffing enemies and slowing them for your Team will be your main part!
