Threat Hero Notes
1
Adagio Not a big threat as a roamer, you can Rose Offensive his ult. If he is the carry, then keep the poke on him, the health barrier is helpful against his fire.
1
Ardan Not really a heavy hitter, Rose Offensive his Gauntlet and you should be fine.
2
Catherine Her stuns and silences can be annoying, locking you down, but she doesn't have much damage, keep poking and kiting.
2
Kestrel Not a major issue if you keep flares and traps around, just don't let her get the stun.
2
Skaarf Stay out of his Goop, his range is good, but his defense is not, just kite and poke.
3
Fortress Has decent damage and can keep up with your speed, but he shouldn't be too much of a problem. Just keep poking with B.
3
Reim He's super slow and easy to kite. Don't let him root you or stick to you and you should be fine.
3
Samuel Avoid his A, his ult is easy to block, and he doesn't have much defense so you should be able to cut him quickly.
4
Ozo I don't really see enough of him to give a threat assessment, he shouldn't be too difficult, his healing can be a problem in 1v1's though.
5
Celeste Close in on her and she will fall. She can hit hard, and a good Celeste will try to keep you at bay with her stars, but your B's barrier is great for absorbing damage.
5
Phinn Slow, but bulky, his abilites just bring you closer to his team, and all you need to do is avoid his A's stun. Rose Offensive away from his ult if you see it or Reflex block it.
5
Rona Not seen that often, but she is tanky, keep poking her and you should not have too big of a problem.
5
Skye A good Skye will avoid you, so do your best to land on top of her. She has little defense and you are a great counter to her.
5
Vox Good damage if he's WP, and good damage if he's CP. Just keep poking him, and try to avoid his ult.
6
Baron CP can be annoying with his constant barrage of Porcupine Mortars, while WP can hit hard too, but he is slow and lacks defense. Close in on him and stick, then he should melt
6
Gwen If she's CP avoid her A, if she's WP just keep poking and close distance on her. Avoid her stun! It will hurt!
6
Koshka She could be a hassle if she locks you down with her ult, just get a reflex block, or Rose Offensive away. Squishy, but fast, you shouldn't have too much trouble with her.
6
Lyra Not a major threat as a roam, but if she is going CP, then avoid her A as it will hurt. She's just a pain because she can keep healing her team, creating a nuisance.
6
Ringo Early on he can be a threat until you get Rose Offensive to close in on him. Watch out for CP Ringo's ult, Reflex Block or Rose Offensive to get rid of the burn.
6
SAW Big early game threat, just get an Atlas and then late game is becomes pretty weak. CP is more annoying as his B slows and deals a ton of damage so watch out for that.
7
Alpha Can be dangerous as she can easily close distances, and early game you don't have the damage to kill her before she revives. Early game she can be a problem but as
7
Blackfeather Depends on the build and player. If WP, then you should be able to take on 1v1, keep distance and keep poking. If he's CP then its down to skill.
7
Flicker His slows and root are a pain. If he is roam he won't do too much damage but he can lock you down for his teammates, so maintain vision!
7
Lance As a roam, he is just annoying if he can root or stun you, but his WP damage is strong, avoid his A, and use his slow speed to your advantage by kiting him.
7
Petal Annoying as hell, her range is really high, so if you are in trouble Rose Offensive away is your best bet to survive. The biggest problem is early game with her. Once you get level 6, you can close the gap on her and easily shut her down.
8
Glaive He's not too much of threat late game, but difficult to 1v1 early on, avoid his stun and keep your distance from him. His natural tankiness makes him hard to kill.
8
Grumpjaw Similar to Glaive, he is naturally tanky, and his damage output is strong. Build good defense, and keep on poking.
9
Idris Idris is a pain to deal with, his damage is great and so is his mobility. Avoid his Chakram and use your B to build a barrier against him.
9
Joule Her Rocket Leap is bad if she can land it, especially early game as Blackfeather is super weak early on. Get behind her and attack as this will give you the most damage on her. If she's CP, Rose Offensive from her ult, it will hurt. WP is just as bad with her constant Thunderstrikes.
10
Krul Krul is just a pain to deal with up close, try your best to maintain distance, build an Atlas instead of Metal Jacket and keep poking with your B.
10
Taka Taka is your next worst enemy, WP can be underwhelming but his CP burst is heavy. Since he can easily Kaiten, or X-Retsu over you avoiding your B. Try to aim a B behind you instead, waiting for him to commit. Rose Offensive away if needed.

Overview - Blackfeather's Abilites Top

Mystery is my weapon, beauty is my shield
Hey guys, this is my first guide and Blackfeather is my favorite hero. His CP burst is unbelievable and this makes him a great jungler. This Chapter is just to get a feel for his abilities and how you should be playing Blackfeather.

Ability: Heartthrob

Keep the gold, but your heart is mine
Blackfeather's attacks and abilities apply Heartthrob stacks to enemies. This stacks twice on minions and monsters and up to five times on heroes and objectives. Any time stacks are added or refreshed, Blackfeather also deals 5-10 (+10% crystal power) crystal damage for each stacks of Heartthrob already on the target.

Instead of energy, Blackfeather uses focus for his abilities. This is capped at 100 and naturally regenerates 10 per second. Blackfeather also recovers an additional 10 focus for each basic attack he lands.

What this basically means is that CP Blackfeather deals bonus damage for every basic attack, and when coupled with an Alternating Current his basic attacks will still deal quite a bit of damage. Blackfeather's focus regeneration also allows him to hardly ever be starved for energy for his abilities. He can constantly use his abilities since it regenerates so fast.

Slot A: Feint of Heart

I once was. . . out of range
Blackfeather lunges to his target and basic attacks them. For the next 4 seconds, the target leaves behind a rose trail that grants Blackfeather and his allies movement speed when moving through it.

When this ability is used against a target with full Heartthrob stacks (shown as broken hearts) it will execute the target for bonus true damage based on the target's missing health (capped against non-heroes).

Overdrive: The rose trail also makes Blackfeather and allies unslowable. Additionally, the cooldown for Feint of Heart is reset if the target is killed within 0.5 seconds.

His A is a close the gap move, allowing you to finish off any fleeing enemies, or help your team catch up to an opponent with his rose trail. CP Blackfeather gives the speed boost an even larger boost allowing you to catch even the fastest opponents. It is not a big damage dealer and really shouldn't be used to engage, but kept in reserve to close the gap to an enemy of finish one off.

Slot B: On Point

Do you get my, point?
Blackfeather pierces all enemies in a line, damaging them and applying a decaying slow for 1 second. The duration of the slow is increased by 0.3 seconds for each stack of Heartthrob on the target.

If this hits at least one enemy hero, Blackfeather also gains a barrier that scales with 10% of his bonus health and recovers 35 focus. The amount of focus recovered is further increased with 2% of his Max Energy and 50% of his Energy Regen.

Overdrive: On Point gains increased range.
Blackfeather's strongest ability, as CP his B deals massive damage, has the range of Petal, has a slow, recovers 35 Focus AND gives Blackfeather a hefty health barrier. It is such a amazing ability that makes him a true star, as long as you keep landing his B on enemies, he can become a huge menace. This ability needs to be maxed as soon as possible for the extra range. It will be your best damage dealer in CP Blackfeather's kit.

Slot C: Rose Offensive

I have escaped through more than a few bedroom windows
Blackfeather cuts through his opponents, basic attacking all enemies along his path. During the dash, Blackfeather is immune to negative effects and has fortified health.

This ability has 2 charges.
Blackfeather's final ability is a great initiation tool or a perfect getaway ability. You can go through walls for a quick escape or catch up to a feeling enemy if your too far away for your A to work. It can be a perfect ability if the enemies are bunched up allowing you to deal some hefty damage and with the health barrier it grants it gives you more sustainability. With two charges, you have even more chances to use it. Use it sparingly though, it has a long cooldown early on. You can escape Ult's from Ardan, Adagio, and Joule placing you in a better position.

How to Play CP Blackfeather Top

Into... The jungle!
CP Blackfeather is not like WP Blackfeather where you can dash into the combat and take damage very well, WP Blackfeather has life-steal and CP doesn't so you have to play a bit more carefully to make sure you don't get locked down and killed. Poke constantly with B, it deals so much damage and can negate so much damage with the barrier, it is your best friend. It is inadvisable to invade the enemy early on as Blackfeather is not an early game hero. He is more likely to die early on than most heroes. Just constantly farm the jungle and get the Alternating Current as soon as possible. Once you have it you should be able to farm the jungle alone, and your roam can rotate up to lane to keep an eye on your carry. Once you get to mid game and have T2 Boots and Defense along with Broken Myth and Alternating Current, you will start to deal heavy damage to the enemy. CP Blackfeather's weakest link is his inability to heal, WP can get some heal in but as CP you have to maintain distance and poke only closing in for the kills.

Synergies Top

Roams:
Phinn - One of the best synergies with CP Blackfeather, his pulls and stuns make him great for clumping enemies for Blackfeather to poke at. His natural tankiness compliments CP Blackfeather along with his Polite Company giving extra barriers.

Adagio - Adagio works really well with CP Blackfeather, especially early game where he can be the weakest, with his healing and fire it helps give Blackfeather more sustain.

Lyra- Lyra is great because she can heal, block most incoming movement abilities and give more escape routes for CP Blackfeather. She is great at stopping a Koshka for example from locking down onto you.
