Hello everyone! Welcome to my first Vainglory build guide. I am looking to update this build (The threat section sometime in the near future).Krul is a great jungle duelist hero that is a lot of fun to play. So, without any further introduction let's begin with the guide.
Understanding Krul: Top
Krul is very different from many other hero's due to his absolutely insane amount of life steal. This allows Krul to win almost every 1v1 that he engages in. This ability also allows Krul to win in extremely unfavorable matchups. Knowing this, we can build a kit around Krul's abilities and make him unstoppable.
The Start of The Match to Mid Game: Top
Since Krul is a mid to late game hero and is weak early game it is crucial to build the right items from the very beginning of the match. Start off Krul with a Swift Shooter and two Halcyon Potions. The extra attack speed from the Swift Shooter and later attack speed items will greatly assist in applying Spectral Smite stacks quickly to opponents. The Halcyon Potions are simply to help you stay alive early game.
Your first ability point should be spent on Spectral Smite so that you don't die farming jungle camps (As I said before Krul is REALLY weak early on).
Throughout your first few levels make sure to avoid all other heroes until you have Breaking Point. This item is Krul's bread and butter, it steadily increases in damage as Krul pounds on more and more weakness and life steal stacks.
Mid to Late Game: Top
The second you finally get your Breaking Point you are ready to start destroying some enemy players. Continue to farm the jungle for the money to buy the items listed in the build section (Be sure to buy items in the order listed in the Final Build section) but keep one eye on the lane for a gankable opponent.
Late to End Game: Top
Your build is for the most part complete and you are feeling invincible. You now can walk around The Fold looking for trouble as long as your team is there to back you up. The rest of the game is simply scoring aces, grabbing major objectives, and eventually winning the match.
How to Gank With Krul: Top
Krul is built to gank. All you have to do is wait in the bush of your choosing until your Shadows Empower Me perk activates, then use Dead Man's Rush to close the gap (Don't worry, when Krul's hero perk is active his first attack has a slowing effect on its victim) Then build Spectral Smite stacks so you can detonate them to quickly finish the enemy hero. If they escape before you build enough stacks just use Krul's Ultimate,"From Hell's Heart" to stun the fleeing enemy so you can secure the kill.
