Glaive in the lane?! Seriously?! Top

This build is battle-tested, powerful, and super fun to play. This build is possibly more fun than a burst CP Taka. You will deal consistent burst damage, basically, and your Afterburn is just a quick poke & stun to annoy the **** out of your enemies. Your Book of Eulogies restores your health if you kill a monster or minion, which is AWESOME in the lane because you can sit back and take the minion's last hits, and ignore early game pokes. Your Serpent Mask will keep you alive MUCH longer, and help your last-hitting. Simply ignore enemy light pokes and Afterburn away from ganks. Glaive, while he is melee, and it says he belongs in the jungle, he is also proficient in the lane.

Ability Description Top

: KILL THEM ALL - Crit strikes slice in a cone.

: Wheee! - Dash in a direction. Your next attack will send your enemy flying.

: Sadistic Poke - Resets Basic attack timer and makes it critically strike.

: Burst thingy - Deals damage based on the amount of stacks of Burst thingy you have. The stacks give you extra lifesteal, you get one stack per basic attack.

Creatively using Wheee! (Afterburn) Top

Glaive's Afterburn is possibly the most feared non-ultimate ability in the game.
It rockets you a fixed distance. Your next basic attack will stun and knock back enemies in the opposite direction you attacked from. Some ways to creatively use it:
Laner Disrupt: Rocket towards your enemy laner and send them towards your turret.
Teamfight Initiation: Rocket towards the enemy's main carry, and send them into an ambush with your allies waiting.
RUN: Self explanatory - the stun also helps, so if someone like Koshka jumps on you, you can send 'em backwards, but then start running again.
Skill Disrupt: It's hard to do this well, but if you have the stun ready and you see a big ability coming, like Dragon Breath or Yummy Catnip Frenzy, then you can stun them. This ends the ability and can push them in a favorable direction.
