SAW Glaive will usually post stunnbe dealing enough damage to kill Saw outright without him being able to crawl back and kill Glaive as long as you have the DPS so I would suggest holding off lane till early-mid game.
3
Krul Most builds of Krul tend to neglect Defence/Health and opt for high lifesteal. Meaning that if the ability for lifesteal is taken away Krul is left helpless. TEAMMATES ALWAYS NEEDED. This is always important against Krul and Reim
3
Kestrel As with all catastrophic team destroying heroes like Kestrel often can be, defence is key and with this build glaive can make every playing field an even one with his stun ability. Base whether to up your attack or defence mid game to end game on what threats are before you. I.e if Kestrel is spamming destructively shield is probably a wise option.

Taka Taka is a black sheep when it comes to VainGlory, he can make teams and break teams on either side, though against this Glaive he's not particularly fatal, if he is giving you a hard time opt for some armour and he'll just be another fly to brush off

6
Glaive Obviously fairly equal so the decision to engage will be solely based on specific context mostly the element of surprise in the jungle
7
Reim DONT ENGAGE ALONE. As with Krul also Reim is not be dealt without teammates. Although Glaives heavy hitting stun into teammates with high DPS will surely obliterate them in seconds

Early Game: Jungle Stomper Top

When it comes to the first team battle at centre jungle, Glaive is ya boi, early Game he has the damage and health to hold his own especially when your team consists of a suicidal Saw and a ringo whose water bottle is monumentally smaller than his cohonies. Steer yourself away from lane too early game, life's hard when all you have is an ice axe and saw has a million bullet a minute minigun to poke you with. Though easy kills can be gained on rookie opponents straying to close to your tower with your Rocket Axe.

To the next obnoxious set of tips vvvv

Mid-Game: Lane Provacateur Top

At this point you should be able to stand up to most enemy heroes abilities and most ults. Swooping out of the bushes at lane to send an enemy back to the carries slaughter range is an effective way to keep pressure on enemy turrets. Though, Glaive is most effective in jungle and dipping into lane to give your carry an easier ride is helpful teamplay temporarily, keep that farm up boi. Your choice of defence, armour (I am British, I apologise for our aluminium, trainers and walkers crisps...and the word crisps) or attack is context dependant on what threats are being posed in game and what has been hassling your carry. *Cough cough* Kestrel is probably gonna be the thorn in your side as usual.

End-game : Tank of all trades Top

Though you won't be able to soak up damage in team fightslike a tank, with this even build you won't have any issues from any heroes within reason. Abilities will be kept at bay by your shield and abilities like taka's and Joule's will not leave you you gasping for health. Your DPS is through the roof and with Glaives cleave perk enemies will be shredded down one by one. Be warned that even if you do not survive team fights, your cleave will on most occasions have given your carry a head start enough to end the vainglory careers of any pending threats. I'm no professional but as a player who likes to play often and struggles for wins I've found Glaive with this build and these tips to be an OP carry cleaving machine. Good luck, though I doubt you would need it with ya boi Glaive;)I am aware this is similar to VainGlory's own recommended build but with a simple tweak of fountain of renewal to an aegis he turns from crystal fodder to a tanked beast.

Weakness Top

Just be careful 1v1 'sing Krul and Reim as always. Also most Captains should be taken with caution as with any prolonged 1v1 help is sure to follow.

Do not storm into fights lure captains out to be shredded by your junglers and carries. But keep them safe

This is intended to be a kind of Captain Jungler hybrid
