The Faaaaaaaam! Top

Hello everyone! This is my very first guide, so don't judge. I've been looking forward to having the entire Family in the fold ever since Ardan was revealed, and I'm pretty good with both Ardan and Celeste.

To start off, I want to explain the different builds Ive given each character and why they synergise with each other. I've built Ardan as a tank with an all-important Bonesaw to assist Vox with his damage. Vox and Ardan will naturally be tankier to help Celeste stay safe. Vox and Ardan both have Crucibles in case one can't react in time. Ardan starts with an Ironguard Contract so that Vox and Ardan can farm together without gettin in each others way. To say the least, I've thought this out.

Vox play style Top

You are the weapon master of the group. You should act more like a warrior than a sniper, but still let Ardan take the damage. You and your teammates are the ultimate chasers, but you will probably be doing most of the actual chasing. Celeste has to pause to use her abilities, and Ardan's abilities are less effective on himself... Making you the perfect chaser. That Sonic Zoom will be deadly with the double Sorrowblade and the Tyrant's Monocle. The Clockwork will give you that dash every 3 SECONDS, so yeah... They better watch out.

As well as being an amazing damage dealer, you are an important first responder. Ardan needs help placing scout traps for vision? Vox should back him up. Celeste getting ganked again? Vox should be there faster than you can say "did you know if you yell into a minion's mouth it echoes?" Yea. That quick. Vox has a big responsibility: he has to constantly be aware of the map and be ready to dash in to help at any time.

Ardan play style Top

This is a protector build, NOT a warrior build. Just rack up the assists, and constantly auto-Attack the carry. The Bonesaw will ensure that Vox can secure the kill, If Celeste hasn't nuked them already. Be wary of Aftershock, however: with your high health, it will melt you like butter. Let Celeste or Vox take the aftershock proc, it'll be less effective on them. Speaking of high health, this build will make your barrier have a useful... Well, barrier. Use it on Vox, most likely, or Celeste if they focus her.

Another part of your role is placing scout traps for vision. Doing this simple, cheap little thing can mean the difference between winning and losing. He best way to get these scout traps down early is to triple invade right at the start. That will give you plenty of space to lay down your mines. Don't risk your life to put these mines down, however; feeding isn't going to help anyone. Besides, even if you can't secure vision, both Vox and Celeste can easily get vision on enemies.

Celeste play style Top

For the love of all things holy, DONT BE STUPID!!! Leave the diving and dangerous stuff to Vox, and stay behind Ardan AT ALL TIMES. Don't go for the turret unless Ardan or Vox can support, or you have vision on the bush. And I don't mean that wimpy little star vision you get, I mean like legit scout trap vision. In team fights, stay on the edge and poke so hard. The enemy likely won't even see the stars, and those supernovas are gonna give'em hell if they aren't paying attention.

One thing Celeste is amazing at is poking. No one can poke quite like Celeste. Always be at the edge of a fight and drop stars whenever you can. Even when Ardan is dead, Celeste can kite for miles. Just keep calm and drop stars, and everything will be fine. I've seen Celeste 1 v 3 an entire team... Behind a turret and constantly poking. This is the best and ONLY way to play Celeste right.

Placement and Positioning Top

Celeste in lane, Ardan and Vox in jungle. The little white dots are where the mines should go. Notice how the dots are mostly in the middle, and less abundant in the far ends of the jungle. The reason you don't need to put mines in your jungle is because you usually don't need to have vision in your own jungle, and putting mines in the enemy jungle is pretty dangerous.

Conclusion Top

Well, this is it. I'll be back after a while to update items and threats and stuff. L8r!
