 Adagio Adagio's fragileness makes him an easy target for Glaive's Afterburn.Additionally, with Glaive's 100% crit will allow him to deal double damage and crit twice.Finally his stun allows him to damage Adagio as well as taking him out of his ultimate. In this match-up using Slayer Glaive shall be wise to stop Adagio's healing.

 Ardan An easy match up for Glaive's Destroyer Variation. This allows you to stun Ardan and then quickly whittle down his armor. By the time Ardan gets out of your stun you can double crit him for the finish.

 Alpha A fairly even match, Glaive can be easily dumped on by Alpha's Ulti.However, within the moments of Alpha's ult animation Glaive can knock her back. From there Glaive can easily Burst Alpha into her passive and crit her down. For this deadlock choose the slayer Glaive variation in order to stop her healing.

 Baron This is a quite difficult match-up for Glaive. No matter which variation you choose Baron's kitting potential and infinite ult range will allow him to keep you from running. On the other hand, Glaive is still able to stun Baron long enough to get a head up on him. It is still unadvisable to fight him.

 Krul This fight is extremely bad for Glaive because Krul can easily take out Glaive. In a 1v1 Krul will nearly always beat you with his sustain.

Why these builds should be used: Top

- I'll start with the Slayer build. This built should be used in a match-up against a team composed of low armor hero's. These sqiushies do not stand a chance against Glaive's damage. These squishies will get crit down faster than a Krul getting focused by crystal Kestrel( Funny Joke).

- Secondly the Destroyer Glaive Variationis for Medium armor or Health such as other Glaives. Most people will not be prepared for this build as it is not very common. This build will allow you to quickly burst enemies and pop enemies.

- The ripper build is easily my favorite build. This build allows me to shred tanks with extreme speed. This speed allows glaive to absolutely destroy armor.

Story Time: Top

Once upon a time I had played a game against an Adagio, Ringo, and Blackfeather. The Blackfeather's poke was annoying eventually my power caught up to him and while stunned he could not rose offensive away. Adagio as mentioned above did not have a fun game and rage quit. Finally, their Ringo did not have the shield and health to withstand my attack.
