Divergent Paths (Heroic Perk)

Idris unlocks unique powers for either his melee or ranged paths upon attaining a certain amount of weapon or crystal power (125 CP or WP)

Melee (Weapon): Idris’s Shroudstep becomes an instantaneous blink. Passively, his melee attacks restore stamina and reduce the cooldowns of his Shroudstep and Shimmer Strike abilities.

Ranged (Crystal):Idris gains ranged basic attacks, dealing crystal and weapon damage and applying on-hit effects.

Instead of energy, Idris uses stamina to activate his abilities. Purchasing items with energy and energy regeneration increases his stamina and stamina regeneration.

Max Stamina: 100 + 10% Max Energy
Stamina Regen: 7.5 + 50% Energy Regen

Shroudstep (A)
Idris dashes in the target direction, dealing amplified damage to the next target he attacks within seconds. If Idris has not taken damage within the last few seconds, Shroudstep grants a barrier. The availability of the barrier is displayed beneath his stamina meter.

Chakram (B)
Idris throws a chakram that returns to him, damaging enemies each time it passes over them. Hitting enemy heroes, miners, or kraken recovers stamina. Idris can use his Shroudstep and Shimmer Strike abilities to avoid catching returning chakrams, giving him additional opportunities to strike enemies.

Shimmer Strike (Ultimate - C)
Idris latches onto the target hero, becoming invulnerable, then leaps off in the chosen direction, damaging surrounding enemies. The distance Idris leaps is increased in his crystal path.

The build mentioned is really a killer one. The one and only work you have to do is to just burst in towards the most damaging enemy( most annoying to you) and kill him as fast as possible. The others can be easily killed. If the heroes start escaping with low hit points then chase them down but if they have more than 80% hit points then just ignore them and look for the objectives, i.e, the turrets and the kraken. Here I've mentioned not to upgrade shimmer strike completely, you guys would have seen it I guess, it's totally because the other abilities are much more powerful. We can use shimmer strike as a chaser or to escape from certain ambushes.

Start of the game Top

At the start of game buy book of eulogies and a swift shooter. It is more of a sustain start than an aggressive one. Please don't be aggressive at the start. Idris is very weak and can easily be killed but you can hunt for enemies with low health, just be careful of ambushes. We don't have to chase them through their jungle. Know well, never be a carrier(laner) with weapon idris. You can't level up fast. Go to the jungle and knock down some minions so that u can level up fast and easy. Always have some support from your allies until u reach level 5. If u have a powerful starting team u can invade enemy jungle at the start and prevent them from gaining XP. Use shroudstep immediately after chakram if u see anyone with low health and no support near u.

After u reach level 6 Top

Rush for sorrowblade to unlock Idris' trait and now it's time to go kill the enemy laner. Just wait for the enemy laner to come a little bit away from his turret. U can kill him easily if u have enough WP by that time or u have your laner. Once u find such a moment ask ur laner to attack the enemy laner, and once that has started, jump on to him and he will be dead within a moment. Just be careful and make sure no one is coming to support the enemy laner. This is an easy way to gain gold and XP.

Mid game Top

If u have a good skilled team, then u would be the most leveled and powerful hero (provided the above strategy is followed). I always opt for a minions foot bcoz u will get ur first hit to be critical. If u get easy kills then go try the aggressive build I've mentioned. But before that note if there is not more than one high damagers in that team. Aegis is good to have because of its reflex block. U can escape phinn, ardan, Glaive and Celeste too and you wouldn't be caught on ambushes.

Late game Top

During late game we mostly never find the enemy team in the lane. They would be waiting to bait u. So don't roam alone. when ur allies get into battle with the enemies, always the enemy jungler will be in the front protecting the vulnerable laner at the back. Here just let your team attack the junglers and use shroudstep to reach the enemy and within seconds u can kill him. Using shroudstep at the right time is very important. When u get near the enemy laner the whole enemy team will start focusing on you. Shroudstep grants u a good health barrier and serpents mask regenerates ur health. You can easily get two kills. This whole build is to guide u to kill the most damaging enemy at the first and get out of the fight without dying. I like serpents mask much more than poisoned shiv because we get much more WP and it has a good passive suitable to assassins.

1 VS 1 fights ( late game ) Top

U would have aegis to escape from stunning and nothing else special u need. I've discovered something a few days ago and hope it would work for all cases. Enemy ringo used his ultimate on me and I latched on to the ringo. At that time ringo's ultimate hit him and took him down due to the damage overtime effect. I haven't tried with other heroes but hope it would work for all. With journey boots, Idris is as slippery as vox. I would always opt for the second sorrowblade but if u want u can replace it with tension bow. I don't know how it really works with each hero but I hope it is good. If ur a beginner you'll have problem with krul, taka, reim and opponent Idris. Once u have mastered this build no one can defeat idris in one vs one fight. Shroudstep and shimmer strike are the most important in these kind of fights. Chakram have to be used but so much intelligence is not needed during one vs one but shroudstep and shimmer strike have to be used cleverly. It might sometimes help u kill two enemies without any support. Always go for the most damaging enemy to you and get him first. Then it is easy to whittle down others.

Any more doubts? Top

I hope u guys would enjoy this deck. I am not more of a publisher but I really wanted to share this deck. U can ask me if u have any doubts in countering any hero. Remember, shroudstep not only grants u a barrier but ur first hit hits like a truck.
