Build Notes Top

Ringo is really weak in the early game and is pretty outmatched by any other laner until he has a few items. Noting this, I start off with Tension Bow as my first Tier 3 to make the most of Ringo's great initial damage. In the lane, poke the enemy laner with an Achilles Shot followed by an auto-attack and then back off into your turret's range before the enemy can retaliate. However, don't forget to pick up the lane farm by last hitting and proccing Double Down, because farming is really important in the early game.

At this point, I start building towards the first Sorrowblade. Once I have Heavy Steel, I like to get my Sprint Boots and Swift Shooter before Sorrowblade for easier kiting, but it is also viable to go Sprint Boots and Sorrowblade instead. In any case, make sure to activate Ringo's Twirling Silver when kiting in team fights. Otherwise, Ringo tends to become meat for enemies no matter how fed he is.

Around mid-game, you should be dealng a sizeable chunk of damage when poking and stutter-stepping. Achilles Shot followed by Twirling Silver and a flurry of shots should send most enemies away. I like to use Hellfire Brew to initiate a group of enemies from a distance and then let my teammates go ahead of me and take the brunt of the fight while I focus down the enemies. But make sure to stay behind your allies and avoid straight-on engagements when by yourself.

After the first Sorrowblade is done along with some attack speed, I typically build towards a second Sorrowblade. But before you spend the big cash, make sure to check the scoreboard and see if more than one enemy has built Coat of Plates or has started armor. If so, get Heavy Steel instead of a full Sorrowblade, and then rush Bonesaw. This will make the most of your damage against armor. To setup for build changes like this, I tend to save up a lot of gold before making purchases in the mid to late game.

With 2 Sorrowblades, formidable attack speed, and Tension Bow, you're going to hurt the enemy really badly if you play safe and stutterstep often. In the late game, I tend to use my remaining slot or so for lots of Flare Guns which I use to check bushes safely and keep my team out of potential ganks. If the enemy team's location is well-known, then you can pop a Weapon Infusion and then stack up on flares.

If the game is still going, then save up for the THIRD Sorrowblade for even greater damage. Boots are typically my last priority once I have Tier 1 Sprint Boots since Ringo's speed buff from Twirling Silver is normally sufficient.
