SAW Alone? You're toast, unless you run. Generally easy to escape from and kill if you have teammates. If he decides to Surpressing Fire you, Afterburn out of his Suppressing Fire and knock him into some teammates.
3
Skaarf Standard Operating Procedure. Stun, knock into teammates. Be sure to stun him when he's preparing to use Dragon Breath] to cancel it out! In the case that you get stuck in a Dragon Breath, Afterburn out of it and activate Crucible for teammates.
4
Celeste Be careful around her. Her Core Collapse will stun you and make you an easy target. Move around her to dodge it! Especially with Afterburn.
4
Koshka See Taka] Does NOT have a good escape ability. Easier to deal with.
5
Taka Will burst you down. Afterburn away unless you have a teammate. If you have a teammate, stun him and help your teammate kill him.

Introduction Top

CP Support Glaive. Is it even possible? Yeah! Using the power of cool down reduction ( Clockwork) and Aftershock, I have managed to put together a CP build for Glaive! Read on to find out how to build and use him.

Early Game Top

Grab an iron guard and some halcyon potions right off the bat. Go jungle, make sure you take the ones near the middle first. Be EXTREMELY careful, CP Glaive is weak and squishy early game. RETREAT if there are enemies around you. Use flares and scout traps to track enemy junglers. No jungle? No problem! Use the lane instead, let the laner last hit and you'll get gold with your iron guard. Once the enemy jungles are gone, continue to jungle as usual. Keep doing this until you upgrade Afterburn to 5 with a clockwork and boots. (Note: It is ESSENTIAL to overdrive Afterburn. It reduces the cool down by nearly half, letting you stun and run more.)

Mid Game Top

This is where the fun starts. Use your Afterburn to stun and slice through enemies, along with Aftershock's life steal and bonus damage. You may also use Afterburn to escape sticky situations where you are being chased by multiple enemies(Boots are for speed and backup sprints). Speaking of sticky situations, ALWAYS STAY WITH ANOTHER TEAMMATE. You are useless by yourself. CP/Support Glaive is too squishy and don't deal enough damage to kill enemies effectively. With a teammate, you can Afterburn through an enemy to knock and stun him where your teammate can kill him. It's called CP/SUPPORT for a reason! Start building Tornado Trigger and Crucible. If you favor a faster cooldown and speed over survival, build Warhorn in place of Crucible.

TIP: Don't be afraid to Afterburn through creeps! The cool down is short and there are no energy problems with the two Clockworks.

End Game Top

Great. You've made it this far. The tactics on this page only apply if you have built Tornado Trigger and Crucible as your last two items. Keep your Bloodsong stacks high, and spam your Twisted Stroke for extra damage. Do as you did in mid game. Stun, run. Keep close to your teammates, disrupt ultimates, and enjoy watching the enemy Vain Crystal shatter.

TIP: To make a quick escape, Afterburn through an enemy, hit him back, and run. Afterburn until you've lost him.

Tactics Top

CP/Support Glaive is extremely squishy. Do not try to 1v1 with him. Your team is extremely important. Use flares and scout traps to your advantage. Don't harass too much early game, farm your core items. You can stun like crazy. Try to stun as long as it doesn't kill you. Use Afterburn and Twisted Stroke three seconds apart for more Aftershock damage. Don't forget to upgrade your Sprint Boots to Travel Boots, they grant +1 speed outside of combat! Upgrade to Journy Boots if you have enough gold for an Armor, Shield, and Health boost!
DONT BE AFRAID TO USE YOUR Afterburn TO TRAVEL AROUND THE MAP
