I upgrade dead mans rush and spectral smite pretty evenly because they are both very useful with survival. Dead mans rush and spectral smite are both very powerful, giving kris huge health and health barrier bonuses. From hells heart is to just stop the enemy for th kill.
As I have said in other builds, close clerk helps you use your abilities quicker. Metal jacket is essential to survival and journey boots just give you that huge speed boost, extra armor, shield, and health. Because krul is tanky and can stand his ground, bone saw helps deal more damage. Alternating current and bone saw together give krul lots of attack speed, allowing him to put many stacks of weakness quickly. Serpents is just to help him survive a lot longer.
