Threat Hero Notes
1
Ardan Use Aegis for Gauntlet, and you can shred health and armor with Bonesaw, consider grabbing a Shiversteel to help with slowing down Ardan. The slow down from Vanguard might be a problem but overall, very little threat. Weapon Ardan is laughably easy to kill. Just shred, then use your "B" abililty
1
Fortress Not to difficult, watch for setups in the jungle because ganks are brutal and Fortress is an incredible set-up hero. Wolves don't do anything much and its other abilities do very little damage as well. Use a Shiversteel when dealing with its speed
1
Celeste She won't be able to hit you with her "A" ability or her "B" ability. Watch out for well timed ultimates. She's a light mage and also is incredibly slow. An easy kill
2
Skaarf With Skaarf just pull an MC Hammer and don't touch those fireballs. They're really easy to avoid and as long you don't get caught in the mud, you should be just fine. The ultimate is a bit tricky, block with Aegis and heal with the fountain if needed. Another really easy mage to shred.
2
Catherine Don't get stunned or silenced, besides that also watch for the shield and how much damage the shield is doing to you as you attack. it will take a while to get the kill but don't fret, you will get it eventually
2
Petal Lots of range, watch for exploding nuts, ultimate is really weak because you eat it up. Just very fragile and simple to take down
3
Joule Don't get stunned or caught up in the laser. If she has an Alternating Current (this is the one item that can and will ruin you) just bounce out of there. Crystal will easily be eaten up by your defenses. Weapon with high attack speed is bad news but you can kill it still.
3
Alpha This is the counter build to other Alphas. Neither Crystal nor Weapon will hurt much while you're pouring damage on them. Watch out for self-destructs.
3
Lance The rooting action plus the stun action equals possible death, also he is ridiculously tanky, it will take forever to kill him but if you get an asssist, it will be cake
4
Kestrel The arrows hurt but are easy to avoid, just dodge them and continue with your attack. Don't get stunned either. If you even think she has an Alternating Current or a Bonesaw, tread lightly. Ultimate is very dangerous, but easy to avoid.
4
Adagio Arcance Fire can screw you up in a minute. He can also heal. Although he isn't as tanky as an Ardan or a Lance, he is still a pain. If he is dealing a lot of damage very quickly it's a poor decision to try to take him on alone. Wathc out for buffs aimed towars himself, he usually has a ton of crystal or weapon
4
Skye Just a little on the tricky side, don't get stunned or slowed by Frostburn. Besides that you just destroy her defenseless frame. You also eat her "B" ability
4
Phinn He's so tanky it hurts. Don't get stunned or pulled into a gank or else it's game over. His weapon is weak and the crystal that is there is incredibly weak against your defense.
5
Ozo Ozo is just a good all around hero. He's got good abilities, good weapon abilities, good speed and tanks well. If he's regenerating, it's not going to go well. He also has good attack speed so watch out for that. Crystal is a little bit less difficult to deal with but be mindful that the abilities are still tough
5
Lyra Lyra can heal herself and others all while snaring you and silencing you, preventing any abilities. She's not as tanky but with a Crucible, can be a force to be reckoned with. Be careful of the portal coming in out of nowhere.
5
Ringo The constant damage is painful but you do well eating up hits. The "A" ability is easy to use when chasing him down. Watch out for the fire.
5
Reim That "A" ability hurts but gets a good chunk eaten by your defense. Don't get rooted or stunned. The ultimate will murder you instantly if you get stunned. Grab your lane partner if you want Reim killed.
5
Rona Rona has regen and can shred but is slow and decent defenses, they're not great. Watch for the spin and the slow. She can also escape easily so maybe use a Shiversteel.
6
Blackfeather Assassins are a pain, and even though you do resist them slightly, their ridiculous speed and attack rate can be a problem. Blackfeather can also pack some crazy regeneration. Watch for the slow and use a Shiversteel to deal with the speed.
6
Samuel Samuel is likely getting nerfed soon, so while he is still good, he's incredibly tough. As long as you hit him before he prepares the ring and the ultimate. He's really slow and fragile but hits like a bomb. Be wary.
7
Glaive Afterburn is really unexpected and hits out of nowhere. You eat hits but double armor is a good idea. He still hits fast and the crits are always gonna hit you, he just does some crazy damage. Guess what? He's also a crazy tank! Just bad news all around.
7
Krul No matter how much you eat he has enough in him to break Alpha eventually, much like SAW and Glaive, there always seems to be enough in the tank to take you down. Don't get stuns
7
Vox Very similar to Samuel but can and will shred your defenses to nothing but he is also very fragile and the crystal is really bad against you so don't worry about that. He will juke you and then mercilessly slaughter you with sound. It could be either really bad or really good for you.
8
SAW Two words, Spin Up. It's just a pain. If he goes crystal it's easier but Alternating Current will put you out of commision if he spins up, and no matter how much crystal you build, the shank kills. Weapon is like a slower Ringo
9
Taka He can vanish and pop up and unless you use flares by sacrificing defenses, you won't be able to find him. Without that important defense you will be in hot water. Overall, grab a group for the best and most satisfying kill. He can easily out speed you and out ability and out attack you. Just overall bad news
9
Koshka She is just merciless. If you see her at full health, leave, even if you can easily shred, she will kill you so fast. Go for a team gank with your support.

Introduction Top

Hey, thanks for checking out my guide, if you could give me a vote and maybe tell me what I need to work on, that'd be great. Anyway, you should use this set if you have a Lyra or an Adagio on your team as the support hero. Also you should use this against Warriors, Mages, and Snipers if any of them are in the jungle. Avoid using this set against Assassins because you don't really slow down heroes with this set, you just eat their hits, so assassins are tough to deal with. Another important part of the set is that you worry about defenses without forgetting about your offense it should still represent 1/3 or half of the set. You wouldn't want to have planned this great attack and then barely do any damage. This set works best against a crystal mage down in the jungle. Don't worry about money, this set isn't very costly but you need to get items regularly in order to stay alive. Watch out for heroes that have a lot of attack speed, it doesn't seem like its doing much but it's wearing you apart. Overall, uses this set when the situation is right.

The Set, and Where To Use It Top

Depending on what you're facing in the jungle and who you have on support, you can build your set on one of two major paths. The first path is defenses, you're are more likely to use this against somebody who's doing a lot of damage. You should get either Atlas Pauldron or Aegis depending on if they're doing a lot of weapon or crystal damage. For the second part of the set, you should build the armor or shield that you didn't build previously. The other path that you could take is a more weapon priority based set. First you build a Bonesaw and then you build the aforementioned Atlas Pauldron or the Aegis. If you want to get in good ganks then you should probably use the weapon priority set. If you want to be a support jungler, build the defense first.

Threats Top

Of course before I even start this chapter, it should known that this set isn't as effective against assassins. If you wanted to combat that build more weaponry and just be careful of ganks. Anyway, back to the threats. There are some items that bring this set to shambles. Breaking Point can fry any set when used with enough extra weapon damage so maybe build double armor instead of double shield. Alternating Current can have the same affect. Slowly doing damage until you face death. Another item that can have the same affect on you is a Bonesaw. Heroes that normally just have really fast fire rates will be a problem. Also regeneration users will be a problem because to them you are a buffet. Besides that the only thing you should have to worry about is not doing enough damage. Picture this, you've gotten about halfway through the hero you're pursuing's health. Then you get the **** ganked out of you. Make sure you build armor while not forgetting entirely about weaponry.
