Monocle 2x works great on Krul. His damage caps-out at 500 critical. Which is just insane. The play style is different, you simply crit on A, and max A. Use his B for heal, but you lose one attack animation. Typically, you can win by minute 7~8. The enemy team will never ever engage.
Krul detests movement slow and heal. I was planning on making guide but attack speed seems to be a better curve.

OMG this is by far the best, most complete Krul guide out there. It surpasses my unpublished one by far and includes everything you need. I'm a new Krul main who just came from maining Ozo, and I think this guide's tips/tricks helped me by far. Great job, keep up the great work!

I want to know that this guide is outdated as of update 1.14. With breaking point nerfed, Krul should be going sorrowblade, tornado trigger, and tyrant's monocle. It takes more gold, but more effective than breaking point. I can't update the guide for whatever reason, so. This build has worked for me up to gold hotness, but still trying climb. Up there, skill and luck is pretty much everything.

Suppose in a game my team is all carries, but I still want to be Krul, should i get the ironguard contract (which will become a warhorn) or just carry on with a swift shooter?

As a Krul main, I believe this guide is great but, personally, I tend to rush Shiversteel instead of Breaking Point. I get that after Shiversteel and sprint boots. Also, I usually get a Bonesaw even is they aren't building armor. All heroes have base armor so this is really good, especially since it increases attack speed and thus life steal. Otherwise, BEAST guide! Can tell that you obviously put a lot of effort into it. ;)

I went up against 1 Celeste, 1 Catherine, and a Fortress on the same team. Such an annoying team. We were Phinn, Celeste, and Me as Krul. We could easily focus and target Celeste after a bit of scuffle, but we never had enough to finish off the other two supports...they always got away. The game went on until the 35 min mark...I didn't know how to counter build those two supports, any suggestions ?

Killing supports is never easy, especially Catherine due to Stormguard. I recommend [Shiversteel]], Warhorn, and Journey Boots for chasing. Counterbuilding supports don't really work, so you will need to rely on Breaking Point and long, efficient chases. As far as I'm usually concerned, supports really have little effect on the battlefield, and a Kraken push should have finished the game early. I'm guessing they stacked Stormguard Banner items to counter Kraken.

Focusing the chase on one hero is more feasible than separating, so coordination is key in this case.

I'don't have much experience chasing supports, since they usually die pretty quickly in the higher skill tiers (burst damage and all), so I hope this helps.

I have often thought about cooldown items for Krul, but I always come to the conclusion that I can't survive without counterbuilding. However, I almost always finish with about 6,000 to 7,000 (roughly 15 to 20 minute games) gold, so there really wasn't enough gold for Clockwork. If you have enough gold mid-game, go for Clockwork. Using all of your abilities once should guarantee you one kill, the second will require skillful counterbuilding and the Breaking Point stacks from your first kill.

Since all of my gold is focused on defensive items, I usually use Halcyon Potions instead of energy items, as this reduces wasted money and I get some health with the potions too.

Krul is a very energy hungry hero, as well as semi-ability-reliant. The primary trade-off for cooldown/energy items is his squishiness, so keep that in mind.

It took a while to master him, and he is pretty hard. The good thing is that he has received little to no changes in the last few updates, so there is no need for "re-mastering".
