Coup D Burst Top

Coup D Burst Glaive

This Guide is for those who plays Aggressive Jungle and have a good roamer on your team. This particular build is very good when paired with Ardan as Protector. Doesn't work well with Catherine.

Brief Introduction

Hey all, I have seen many player who plays Glaive and I say Glaive is one my favourite Hero. His Lifesteal, AOE and Afterburn when combine and used properly are deadly. Many of the player below POA-Gold are in for surprised when I picked CP Glaive. This guide will help you understand why CP Bursty Glaive is one of the best when your opponent are squishy (including Petal, Yes you heard it right. For those who are afraid of Petal this guide is for you)

I have divided the items section into five categories, make sure you read in the details.

[*] Starting Game
Start the game with Swift Shooter and Oakheart. Early Farming will be slow, until you get the next item. With his high base health and oakheart Glaive should be surviving the early invade (which only few team does depending on their heroes pick). Go ahead and clear the minions, and once the first wave are cleared go back to base and get Stormguard banner.that should speed up the farming.

[*] Early Game
Early Game starts from 2 min mark to 6 mins of the game. Once you get the banner, the game will get pretty interesting. Let your protector/roamer go to lane and support him, while you do the justice to your Glaive's Afterburn. Steal as many minions from them as possible. With the banner and swift shooter that should not be tough. Probability of stealing their Jungle Creeps and running away by Glaive is much higher than any other hero, take those advantages.
There is another advantage that many Jungler hero does, level advantage, make sure you use that in Glaive too. (Level advantage - Letting a hero take all the creeps without stepping into creep xp gaining range).

[*] Mid Game
6 mins mark to 12 mins mark. This is the period when this particular build begins to shine. By then you will be hitting Level 8-10 higher than the enemies hero level (if you are successful in stealing their Jungle creeps). With the level advantage and aftershock in the pocket you should be able to dominate all the squishy targets. Few important points :
Rush for aftershock, the cooldown and its CP damage gives a boost to Glaive's afterburn ability.
With Ardan as support you can start the fight by rushing to the target with afterburn and support from Ardan's Vanguard will slow down the enemy.
Try to push away the roam instead of other hero, its a bursty Glaive, a second stunt to the roamer/protector gives you enough time to burst down both the squishy heroes.

[*] Late Mid Game
12 mins mark to 16 min mark. By then you are on the roll, with stormcrown, halcyon Boots, Aftershock your afterburn ability should be back on every 6 second. (5 second if you Crystal Infuse). Go crazy but not too crazy, you are strong enough to take down Gold Miner alone. Powerful enough to give a good impact in the team fight. As usual target one of the squishy one, with tension bow and Aftershock it should have enough damage before they realise they are too late to run away.
NOTE : If you meet petal in the game, don't be afraid, she is squishy target. afterburn her then use your ult before pushing her away, she will not last 3 seconds in the fight, by the time this move finish, you will have your afterburn back for sure kill.

[*] Late Game

This build ain't gonna do much in the late game, so try to finish the game before hitting 18 min mark.
There are two ways to finish your build, either go for Alternating current or Broken myth depending on the enemies build.Once you touch the late game, your game will heavily rely on your stunts and carry's damage.
Nothing much to say on the late game play style.

Do's and Dont's
* Always start the fight with your afterburn, then Ult then push away the squishy target. (This is when you have tension bow, before you build tension bow push away Roamer/Protector)
* Always try to Crystal Infuse to reduce your cooldown to 5secs.
* Always try to steal their Jungle creeps.
* Use your Hero Level Advantage before they realize it.
* This build is for squishy targets, do not try this if the opponent picks Alpha/Reim/Catherine.
* If you get stunned by Catherine when you initiate the team fight, there is 80% chance that you will not survive.
* After through the wall when needed to escape after stealing creeps.

That's it folks. If you do want in for more info and understand you could PM me, or ask me here. I will re-read and then make changes if needed.
-Just found out I can make WP guide too, but I will look into other's build before making one.

P.S. I will attach a video after I am done making them.
