Petal Petal's long range can be annoying but I recommend getting a Book of Eulogies to just have that more sustain. Petal doesn't have any escapes, stuns or slows so if she is focused in a tewmfight she is a burned flower.
4
SAW SAW is pretty easy to deal with in lane because as long as you don't get in his range then he can't attack you right? Once he uses suppressing fire immediately go in and poke him for some free damage and then retreat before you take more damage then needed.
5
Skaarf When playing against a Skaarf you want to try as hard as you can to avoid his spitfire and most importantly do not overextend, if he's puts a goop behind you prepare to get ganked! In teamfights you can absolutely destroy him if you dodge his Goop,Spifire combo with Suri Strike and autoattack him until he's dead.
6
Vox Laning against a Vox can be easy if you play Skye right. Avoiding his resonance bounces from minions helps reduce poke from him and avoid his Pulse so he can't Sonic Zoom to you and deal a lot of damage.

8
Ringo A good Ringo can be very annoying to lane against because he will be constantly harassing you with his passive so I recommend getting a book of eulogies and playing mostly passive unless either you get a gank from your teammates or you will definetly be able to kill him or force him to go back. Make sure you have a reflex block by the time Ringo is level 6 so he can't finish you off with HellFire brew
9
Celeste Celeste is real big bully to Skye because of her Heliogenesis stars and if your stunned and are at low health prepare to die!

Info About Me Top

My IGN is BurningAvalanche and I mainly play on the SEA region but sometimes play on NA and EA servers. My skill tier currently is The Hotness Silver but I have reached Simply Amazing Bronze before. I am part of the guild 'Immortaly Lethal' and regularly participate in the guilds activities. I used to main Ringo and Glaive but I have strayed from them and gone to Skye and Rona. I have been playing Vainglory for about 6 months now and have experienced many of OP heroes in my lifetime (1.5 Joule oh the horror!).

Skye: Basic Introduction Top

Skye is best played in the Lane as a Sniper or Mage and requires a lot of in depth knowledge about the game in order to use effectively.

Passive: Target Lock
Skye locks onto and reveals the target she most recently basic attacked. Basic attacks
and Forward Barrage on that locked target grant her bonus move speed. This speed bonus is dramatically reduced while moving backward. Target Lock is lost if the target moves too far away from Skye or if she doesn’t attack her target for too long.

Forward Barrage:
Skye fires her guns while strafing. (She can move freely but cannot change her facing direction.) Reactivating this ability will cancel it. Forward Barrage deals damage to her locked target (but less damage to non-heroes). The duration increases with Skye’s crystal power up to a max.

Suri Strike:
Passive: Each ability point in Suri Strike increases the amount of time Skye can keep her target locked without attacking it.

Active: Skye dashes to a chosen location near her locked target. While dashing, she fires a volley of missiles that lead her target. This ability can only be activated when Skye has a locked target.

Death from Above:
Passive: Each ability point in Death from Above increases Skye’s target-lock range.

Active: Skye fires a salvo of missiles at a chosen location near her locked target. After a brief delay, the missiles rain down on that location, stunning enemies. Enemies still in the area afterward are slowed and take crystal damage. Aiming directly on your locked target rains down the missiles in a cluster. Aiming away from your locked target rains them down in a line across the target’s path. This ability can only be activated when Skye has a locked target.

Starting Items Top

Weapon:

Starting with Skye you want to get a weapon blade and 2 halcyon potions seeing as the weapon blade makes it easier for you to last hit and increase your trade potential and the 2 halcyon potions are there so Yu have more sustain in lane. If you are leaning against a Celeste,Ringo or Petal I recommend getting a Book of Eulogies instead of a weapon blade and just play passive until you go back to base and get more items.

Crystal:

First Back Top

Weapon:

Getting sprint boots is the most crucial thing for Skye because she has absolutely zero escapes without her boots and if she gets ganked she has to rely on her boots to get out of the gank. Get a heavy steel aswell to provide more damage in trading and even easier last hitting. Make sure you buy a scout trap and out in in your lane bush and get 2 pots (Halcyon Potions) and return to lane. If you have enough gold to buy an oakheart after you buy the main items then feel free to do so.
