Threat Hero Notes

Lyra Her lifesteal is fairly annoying. Make sure your allies is nearby to burst her when she gets stunned and pull her back when she runs with her ult
1
Catherine Cath's A can't stun Phinn because of his heroic perk. Only her ult can hurt Phinn a bit. In turn, stun her when she triggers her B and pull her back to your allies when she runs
1
Samuel His A and B combo don't do much even without Aegis. Stun him and he'll lose a lot of HP
1
Vox Again his combos don't do much. Stun him and when he runs your B is enough. You can take 75% of his HP in one go so not a big deal
2
Ardan His ult doesn't stun you and you can cancel it with your ult by pulling him out of the circle. His B won't do much but you need your allies to gank him after you stun him
2
Fortress Not much he can do, when he gets stunned it's almost all over, your allies can just chase him on their own
3
Ozo Fairly easy prey, your armor can stand his combo. Just stun him accurately and your allies will do the rest
4
Alpha Just watch out your allies when she uses her ult and use Crucible or Fountain to stop the explosion.
4
Lance Make sure he gets stuck in combat long enough
4
SAW Just watch for his ult. Stun him as soon as possible. Your allies can make him wait to respawn
5
Baron Quite dangerous since his A can hit you easier than other heroes. When he uses his ult trigger your Crucible. His B can let him run far away so stun him as soon as possible
5
Reim His abilities don't do much if you get yourself an Aegis. Should be easy prey if you can pull him back to combat
6
Taka Taka tends to target your snipers and mages rather than you. Right when he uses Kaiten use Polite Company to cancel his stealth, then stun him with Quibble and when he runs again use Forced Accord and he should be dead if he doesn't have Aegis
6
Kestrel Just make sure your allies are nearby and stun her with Quibble so that your allies can finish off
6
Skye Stun her and use Forced Accord just like Kestrel
6
Glaive His A is very annoying, his B and ult combo can hurt both you and your allies so make sure he gets pulled towards you if he triggers his A
7
Celeste Her ult can take down half your HP so watch out if you don't have much HP. Other than that you A and ult combo can kill her.
7
Flicker Very sneaky and his B can slow you. But an accurate A and ult can take down chunks of HP from him
7
Rona Her high attack speed when added with crit damage and weapon damage hurts a lot. Stun her and run if your allies aren't nearby
8
Krul Very high burst, his perk can help him get quickly out of the bush, his B can lifesteal a lot so make sure he gets stunned and your allies can burst him down
8
Gwen Her slow is very annoying, when she upgrades crit damage and weapon damage you will lose lots of HP. Her ult can't do much though. Use your ult to pull her back and A on her and she'll die
9
Joule She can use her B and ult to burst you down very quickly and then use her A to run out of your ult's range. If you allies aren't nearby to burst her when she gets stunned you're dead
9
Petal WP Petal is very annoying and also her A. Stun her as soon as you see her and (hopefully) she dies before she can run
10
Ringo Hia A and B combo can slow and burst you down and he can also stack his Breaking Point very fast. After you die it's really dangerous for your allies
10
Skaarf His B can annoy you a lot and stop you from joining combats. Good Skaarf players do ~500 damage against Phinn every 3 secs. His ult has A LOT of armor pierce. He can hit and run all day like Ringo. But if he triggers his ult stun him to cancel the ult

Items and abilities explanation Top

Hello community! Today I'll bring you the Phinn guide for both tanking and causing damage.

Firstly, why did I get a Shatterglass? Phinn's A does 600 damage with 170% crystal ratio bonus at max level, which is 255 extra damage. Its overdrive lets you stun enemy heroes and cause a whopping 855 damage. I recommend getting its overdrive as soon as possible.

Aside from that, a Shatterglass also helps a lot with his ult as it does 500 damage with 150% crystal ratio. Eventually, you can use this ult to pull enemies back into combat while giving them 725 damage.

Due to this, a good combo is to stand near your turrets, use your ult to pull them towards the turret. As soon as they get pulled, the turrets stop targeting minions and start shooting at enemy heroes. Right after that use a Quibble to stun enemies. Eventually you'd be dealing 1580 damage (disregarding armor) and stun enemies for turrets to shoot them. If heroes - for example, Taka - runs away with his B use your B to cancel his and pull him back to the turret. Then simply land a Quibble and you're all set.

If the enemy team does have very high health, an Aftershock can help you deal extra 400 damage. That's eventually almost 2,000 damage in 4 seconds (my god).

The rest of the build is for pure tanking and supporting.
-Crucible gives you lots of HP, and when you or your ally needs to block an ability, you can activate it.
-Fountain of Renewal can heal you and your allies when not in combat, and when you team needs it activate it. Its insta-heal can save lives.
-Purchase a Metal Jacket or an Aegis depending on whether the enemy team is a WP or CP concentrated. A WP concentrated team has 2 heroes building weapon power. A CP concentrated team, in the other hand, has 2 heroes going for crystal power. But why not Atlas Pauldron? Because it provides only half the armor compared to Metal Jacket; thus, an Atlas Pauldron is no use against hit-and-run heroes, including Skaarf, Ringo.
-A War Treads is a must-ave for any supporters, as your allies and you can accelerate towards almost dead enemies and finish all of them, ideal for pushing towards turrets, Minion Mine, Gold Mine or The Kraken.
-Lastly, if the enemy team does too much damage at range, you can swap that Aftershock for another Crucible. Then you'll have decent armor/shield and chunks of HP so you won't die in combat.

IMPORTANT: Even though Phinn can deal quite an amount of damage with this build, his ult and A can be dodged. When there are no allies nearby and when you get chased, use your A to stun enemies and then activate War Treads to run, as Phinn can't chase or outrun many heroes, as well since his basic attacks have no real use.
