INTRODUCTION Top

Hey GUYS! this is my first guide and its about GLAIVE, a hunter who has a large AoE (AREA OF EFFECT) damage

This guide focuses on WP Jungle Glaive and this guide is OP. just try this guide and you'll believe me, I will also give you tips how to use Glaive and also the stats of Glaive in lv.12 including the build's items

I update this guide always so be TUNED FOR MORE

Abilities Top

Hunt The Weak: Heroic Perk

Glaive's critical strikes cleave in a cone in front of him

This perk is usefull to damage a lot of enemies at once even though you are just attacking one target

Afterburn: slot A

Glaive rockets in a target direction, damaging all enemies along the way. His next basic attack is replaced by a frightening blast that knocks his target 5.5 meters away

This skill is especially useful for saving your teamates or chasing your enemies, you can also use this skill to push your enemy to the turret and get an easy kill

Twisted Stroke: slot B

PASSIVE: Increase critical strike chance and AoE cleave damage of basic attacks
ACTIVE: Instantly execute a critical strike. This deals weapon damage and is treated like a basic attack, but can deal bonus crystal damage if you have any crystal power. Cleave deals half damage to minions

This skill is a very important skill. Max this first to increase your critical chance

Bloodsong: ULT

PASSIVE: Glaive will generate bloodsong stacks from basic attacking or from recieving basic attacks. Each stack grants him bonus lifesteal. Max 20 stacks
ACTIVE: Swing's glaive's axe in a 5.4 meter circle, dealing massive area damage based on number of bloodsong stacks used. This removes all stacks. Glaive keeps current stacks of bloodsong stacks whenever he dies

Use this skill when chasing slow enemies or killing or damaging a lot of enemies in a teamfight

Items Explanation Top

Sorrowblade
This is one of the most useful items of Glaive. Sorrowblade can increase your attack ALOT I mean how many is 150 WP, thats like two Serpent Mask, the items that adds the 2nd most WP
Tornado Trigger
Tornado Trigger can be substituted with Bonesaw if the enemy is building LOTS of armor or Poisoned Shiv if you're score's like 0-10 to improve lifesteal BUT if the enemy does not do that I really suggest to build Tornado Trigger because it has critical damage and chance and an insane 75% attack speed. Now that's like flash doing punches!

Roam Hero Synergies Top

Adagio
Adagio is good with Glaive because Adagio can give Glaive increased basic attack damage, making him more effective and be able to kill enemies faster. Adagio can also heal Glaive making him live fights longer. When Adagio also heals Glaive when he's near enemies, enemies will be slowed making them more vulnerale to you

Ardan
Ardan is also effective with Glaive because Ardan can use his Vanguard to make Glaive faster, making him able to chase enemies faster and slow nearby enemies. He can also use his Gauntlet to trap enemies inside and to make it better Glaive has AoE damage making him damage a lot of enemies in an instant

Fortress
Fortress is good also with Glaive because Fortress can use his Truth of the Tooth to enemies, and when used to enemies, allies will gain bonus move speed if they try to basic attack the enemy. This is good for Glaive in order to chase enemies. Fortress is also good because he has strong attack damage, making it easier for Glaive to kill. His skills are good especially his ULT, Attack of the Pack because his wolves will identify where the enemies are

Lance
Lance is VERY good with Glaive because first, he has strong damage making Glaive kill enemies faster. He can also use his Impale to root escaping enemies. He can also use Combat Roll and then Gythian Wall to push escaping to Glaive thus, securing a kill. Lance also has fast jungle clearing making Glaive become stronger in a faster time

WP Jungle Glaive Top

When I play WP Glaive, my average kill are above 10 and below 4 deaths, I can do this because first Glaive is a tanky killer, soaking up damage and damaging a lot of enemies at a time. If you are a EXPERIENCED Glaive user, then you know how to use Afterburn which is a key to kill enemies or saving your teamates

Now I'll be talking about why I chose Tyrant's Monocle and Halcyon Chargers

I like to use Tyrant's Monocle on Glaive because it gives you 50 weapon power, which is few but not garbage, it also gives you bonus critical chance and critical damage which is perfect with Glaive's passive, Hunt the Weak

Halcyon Chargers is a good item for Glaive because Glaive can use his skills more often. He can also sprint longer, able to escape fights faster the only PROBLEM is that Halcyon Chargers has the lowest bonus health for any boots but on my opinion, you don't need higher health boots because Glaive is already tanky plus he has 2 tank items

Roam Glaive Top

When I'm using Roam Glaive, I get high assists and also decent number of kills and few deaths the key of being a Roam Glaive is using your Afterburn to push the enemies to your allies to let them get a kill or saving your teammates by pushing the enemies away from your allies. I don't max Glaive's ULT on Roam Glaive because his ULT has no use for a Roam

I'll be talking about why Stormcrown and Sorrowblade

I chose Stormcrown for Roam Glaive because it gives Glaive bonus cooldown speed, energy, etc. It also gives Glaive "true damage" true damage passes though armor and shield thats why it is a good item for a roam and for a killer

I like Sorrowblade for Glaive because it gives you 150 weapon power and if you add that to the damage added by Stormcrown you can damage enemies a lot even though you are a Roam. You could get kills or damage enemies a lot making enemies get killed by allies faster

CP Jungle Glaive Top

CP Glaive isn't mostly used but i want this to be a "complete" guide so I included it. The most important item in this CP Jungle Glaive is Aftershock and I'll tell you why. On CP Jungle Glaive you must learn how go REALLY use Afterburn or else this build will be a LOT weaker

Now I'll be saying why Aftershock and why Clockwork

I really get Aftershock for the first item on Glaive because Afterburn has a built in basic attack but Aftershock's passive is "when you use a akill, your next basic attack will have 15% lifesteal, etc. So you must hit the EMPOWERED basic attack after Afterburn to make use of its passive

Clockwork is a good item for CP Jungle Glaive because his Afterburn has a bit long cooldown, but CP Jungle Glaive's CORE is his Afterburn and you want to use it a lot that's why I also have Halcyon Chargers and Aftershock for some bonus cooldown. It also amplifies your crystal power by 30% which is A LOT

Jungle Opponents Top

Alpha: She is not a threat to you because you can kill her in her Infinite Reboot time making her revive useless. You can also soak her damage because her damage is not that strong just watch out early game because her Infinite Reboot on early game is hard to kill and she can chase you with her Prime Directive
Blackfeather: He is hard to kill if the user is a PRO, but you can kill him fairly easily if he is a NOOOOB. If he is a good one, he can use his Rose Offensive to dodge your Afterburn he can also chase you with his Feint of Heart he can also use his On Point to block your damage because of his fortified health
Glaive: Stun him first with your Afterburn but still, MAY THE BETTER Glaive WIN!!!
Joule: A WP Joule is easy for you but a CP Joule can kill you easily with her Big Red Button just dodge her stun and her ULT and you can easily kill her
Kestrel: You may find difficulty when fighting CP Kestrel. If you go to her mist and she fires a Glimmershot or you get hit by her One Shot One Kill you are most likely gonna die so keep on attacking her so she cannot use her Active Camo
Koshka: She is hard to kill because of her speed just Reflex Block her Yummy Catnip Frenzy and you have a higher chance of killing her. Escaping from Koshka is no use because she can just use her Pouncy Fun to chase you. Her skills damage you a lot so when there is a teamfight, target Koshka first so you can continue to kill the others
Krul: He is not much of a threat but if you get hit by his From Hell's Heart you are dead meat. So I recommend you get a Reflex Block to block his stun amd have a higher chance of killing him or gou could just simply dodge his From Hell's Heart to live. But on 1v1 Krul has a higher chance of winning so stun him with your Afterburn and you could kill Krul
Ozo: He is not a threat to you, WP or CP just Reflex Block his ULT and you will surely live
Petal: She is not much a problem so target first her munions (don't target Petal first) and just escape from her Spontaneous Combustion and you are good to go
Reim: He is a VERY HARD matchup for Glaive. Mostly because of his Heroic Perk, Frostguard and recently his fortified health has been BUFFED you are most likely gonna die from him so stun him first with your Afterburn and attack him then escape then attack just do that and you might have a higher chance of killing Reim
Rona: She is a HARD matchup for Glaive, when she has a Serpent Mask she can just use her Red Mist and she will like have unlimited health so if she uses her Red Mist just escape then when it's done attack her
Taka: He is a Good Matchup for Glaive if he is CP he can just use X-Retsu then Kaiten then Kaku and he'll repeat but you are tanky so anticipate where he will go and use Afterburn or Bloodsong to identify him and then KILL him

CONCLUSION Top

THANK YOU GUYS for reading my Glaive guide just be tuned for more because I will make a new guide
