Ringo Send your Heliogenesis out behind the minions, and as soon as he comes forward to farm, blow it up. His low health means that this will severely damage him. You should be able to keep him away from the minions early game and take a good gold lead.
3
Skaarf If you can dodge his fireballs, you can make him pay. Skaarf should be easy to handle.
4
Petal Petal is just an all-around threat in the lane, but Celeste can handle her a little bit better than most other champs. You can use both Heliogenesis and Core Collapse to clear out her plant creatures all together, and the range on Heliogenesis means that you should be able to harass her better than most. Be sure to make her pay if she comes out of the gates hard at level 1. Before she has her plants, you can crush her, just don't get drawn into the turret.
5
Adagio Adagio has a decent range, usually if you hit him, he can get you back. You may do more damage, but his ability to heal himself makes up for that. This should be a pretty even matchup in the lane. You need to get your junglers' help before he gets his. That's what will decide who wins this lane matchup.

SAW SAW's range and damage output make him a huge threat. Until you max it, any time you can hit SAW with Heliogenesis, he can hit you, usually faster and harder. You're going to need to rely on ganks from your jungle and sit back and farm minions against him as much as you can. As always, be aware of SAWs Spin Up ability. It can destroy you very quickly

Introduction Top

Hello! I'm Oxym0ron, and I've been playing Celeste as my main hero since the day she was released. Celeste is a great hero for a lot of reasons. I'm creating this guide because I disagree with some of the choices I've seen in a lot of the top guides out there.

I want to start of with a warning:
The way that I play Celeste, you do not end up carrying the team. You will not have the most kills on the team, but you WILL likely have the most assists.

Celeste does a lot of damage, but it's usually dispersed between the three enemy heroes. She is not able to quickly do large amounts of damage to a single hero to get the kill like assassins, such as Koshka or Taka, or weapon damage carries, like SAW or Ringo.

For this reason, Celeste relies heavily on her teammates for the killing blows. Celeste is best fighting from the edges of the battle, dealing area damage and stuns to the enemy team to give her team mates the advantage they need to win the fight.
