Threat Hero Notes
1
Joule She has low mobility and aimed abilities. Kiting is easy just watch out for thunderstrike. If 1v1, apply resonance and jump around her with sonic zoom until she dies. She'll never even realize it happened.
2
Ardan Dad's range is too short and he has no gap-closers. Kiting him is way too easy. However, it is important to watch out for his gauntlet and if he's support he's almost 100% with his allies. (But also usually has little damage)
2
Skaarf Though he's adorable, he's really REALLY squishy and his abilities are aimed. You can usually sonic zoom out of ultimate and goop but like you, he's a menace in late game... if he got to farm earlier on. Try and starve him of gold when possible early game. Just pulse and sonic zoom him to death.
3
Celeste Sis also has aimed abilities. You're basically the master against those. When you see her twirl, she's getting ready to drop a star. Sonic zoom NOW. Anywhere. Try and silence her with your ultimate in team fights since she depends entirely on her abilities.
4
Vox I he's weapon... HAHAHAHAHA Easy. Kill. But if he has a similar build see how he's doing to tell whether or not you can take him on. You can sonic zoom out of his ult an pulse most of the time, you just need quick reflexes.
4
Catherine THE STUN. Dodge it and you should win if its mid game 1v1. In late game you could kill her in your sleep. Her A ability has so many uses though, just watch out for it. She's usually with an ally so avoid the brush.
5
Krul Krul's lifesteal is just so deadly. But he needs to get real close to get you and you can use a more cautious version of Joule 1v1 to kill him off. Try and stay away mid-game but go for it late game and only with allies early game. If he's gained full stacks on you pulse to slow him and sonic zoom away; you'll escape and damage him while you're at it. If he's chasing you keep applying resonance and sonic zooming away, usually he won't believe that he'll lose 1v1 with you so you can let him believe he's winning for a while.
5
Rona Rona is a really bursty warrior, actually. She's basically a not-so-squishy assassin. You can usually kite her but careful of her foesplitter. You can sonic zoom out of her ultimate and most Rona's don't know that they can cancel their ultimate half-way through so take that time when she's slowed to do some serious damage. If you're going 1v1, stutterstep and jump around her from afar and run away the moment you think you might lose.
5
Adagio His long range can get you in trouble and so can his arcane fire which slows when his ability is applied on himself. You're quite invulnerable to slows due to your sonic zoom though but he can still be a pain. Thankfully most Support Adagios have a low damage output.
5
Ringo His early game could kill you any day. But your late game could kill him any second. Don't confront him till at least late-mid game. Watch out for his range too.
6
Petal Her munions and her range will decimate you. But, your pulse is great against her minions and you can usually get rid of them and get her when she's defenseless. Watch out for ult and when she's with her allies.
7
Koshka Yeah, stay away. Slow her with your pulse but you usually cant 1v1 her until really late game. if she's trying to ambush you, kite a little and head to nearest turret or mine and if you can, take her on there.
7
SAW Saw is really powerful but you can take advantage of his low mobility. Pulse and sonic zoom combo when he's using is second ability to try and kill him but if you fail, RUN. RUN. RUN. You can usually sonic zoom out of his B ability and use it to get away from his shank. Just remember that you have the extreme advantage in terms of mobility.
7
Fortress Fortress' A ability is basically a very deadly warhorn. Just... no. Don't confront him until you get bursty enough and you're with allies.
8
  No Threat
9
Taka As usual Taka is a menace. But surprisingly, you can often take him on after you get your shatterglass. Us your pulse to find him in his box or in the brush.
10
Glaive Glaive is really balanced as a hero and his aftershock is literally the worst thing a Vox could encounter. Try and hit him from afar and only with backup. Try to avoid him until late game before he knocks you into a very hungry saw.
10
Glaive Seriously though, Glaive.

Jungle Vox? Top

Though it's not too popular, Vox is great in jungle. His range in lane can gethim in trouble since it's so short but his range can get him the upper hand in jungle. He's not as squishy as the other mages and snipers and can hold his own out in the big scary wilderness. He has impressive burst and with the right items, you will destroy. Of course this build works well in lane too.

Also, Ardan = Roam Celeste = Lane Vox = Jungle
See where I'm going with this?

Item explanations: Top

Alternating Current: Since Vox's basic attacks have a crystal component, alt. current works better on him than most heroes. Even celeste, who has a lower attack speed.

Eve of Harvest: Vox is squishy. It's true he is. The EOH will give increased sustainability. It doesn't really seem to make a diff. early game but try playing without it later on and you'll be ganked in no time.

Shatterglass: Nobody wants a weak Vox. This increases his basic attacks too because of his crystal component.

Heavy Steel: Though Vox's attacks have a crystal part to them, they're not fully crystal and this will give him a little more power.

Strategy: Top

Early Game:
Try and keep to yourself if jungling solo but if you're with an ally invade, by all means unless there is an assassin. Focus on farming and getting as much gold as possible and only gank the laner when you wont miss too much time on farming. Rush the ATC and Void Battery to get them ready for Mid-game. Use abilities sparingly. Always have one or two Halcyon potions on hand. Use your mobility to your advantage.

Mid-Game:
You can start trying to 1v1 people now but with caution. Keep farming and help the laner when he needs it! You can afford to stop by the shop less often now. In fact, doing that might surprise the enemies when you suddenly gain like 300 more crystal power.

Late Game:
KILL SLAY DESTROY
You are at your peak now and if you've completed your build and built some situational defense, you can ace the team all by yourself. Go destroy turrets, capture objectives, kill someone. If you've made it this far, there's no stopping you.

However, remember to keep getting gold. If there are a few stray minions or untouched creeps, go ahead and kill them as you pass. But if your team needs help you have to help them v\even if you're halfway through killing a creep. Most of the time we dominate early but lose late because w didn't continue what we did when we were winning.
