Threat Hero Notes
1
Kestrel Easy to take down as long as shots are placed carefully. Better placed shots usually win 1v1
2
Petal Pets aren't a problem and easy to take down. Be careful about ultimate can do lots of damage quickly
3
Adagio The healing and stunning can become a problem
3
Celeste Build shield quickly and take out quickly. Watch for stun can be deadly.
3
Koshka Take down quickly due to burst damage. Easy to take down though
3
Phinn Simply lots of health, armor, and shield. Also takes you out of position. stay back and kite
4
Ardan Usually has very high health, shielding and armor. Makes it difficult to solo
4
Ringo Get the first shots in and take down quickly. When he uses his ultimate use Fountain of Renewal to avoid dying from burning damage after.
4
Rona Easy to take down with teammates. Watch out while early landing for ambushes
5
Catherine The stunning and silence can become a problem if not watched out for. Storm guard makes Catherine hard to take down along with damaging your teammates around her. Avoid till shield is down.
5
Fortress Lots of health to take down
5
Reim Haven't ever faced but seen the amount of damage he can do up close
5
Vox Can do damage quickly but like most range just stay back and land your shots
6
Blackfeather Is overpowered currently, Has a long reach that is unexpected and also follows quickly due to abilities
6
Joule Lots of armor and shield but easy to take down with range and time. Watch out for stun while in lane.
6
Ozo Not to bad to deal with but watch out for ultimate because it puts you out of place and within range of the rest of the enemy team
6
SAW You can take Saw down very quickly but if he has full stacks stand back you will lose if alone and his ultimate will also be your downfall
6
Skaarf Easy to beat just watch out for Ultimate does decent damage and hard to avoid. Can stun with Active Camo if timed correctly. Also has a decent amount of health that can make scaarf difficult.
7
Glaive Does burst damage and puts you out of position if not watched out for
8
Skye Easy to take down if surprised but can be a problem if she is following you because it is had to get away from her
9
Taka Does burst damage quickly and hard to get away from. Don't approach unless with full team and stay behind them to do damage. If Taka goes invisible do the same and try to anticipate where he will be
10
Krul Do not for any reason 1v1. Run back to turret or teammates. He will win. Also while in lane his stun from his ability along with burst damage will be your end. When running away use [[Active Camo]] and watch out for his Ultimate

General Top

I want to start with this is my first guide so please comment with advice or overall how helpful it was. And how to improve the guide. I hope it helps.

Situational Items Top

Frostburn-Extra crystal power and slow enemies when struck to follow and take out

Tension Bow-Extra weapon power, armor piercing, but most importantly the extra 180 bonus damage it does every basic attack. This counts while using auto attack but also your Glimmershot

Tornado Trigger-Reduces reload time for Glimmershot and also can dish out faster basic attacks. With all the extra weapon power your basic attacks still do a lot of damage

Metal Jacket-If you're having trouble with weapon power. (i prefer this over Atlas Pauldron for two reasons. First i never remember to actually use Atlas Pauldron and second i never want to be close enough to the enemy to be able to use it.

Atlas Pauldron-Less armor but slow down attack speed. Can come in handy when being followed

Crucible-Adds some extra health along with a nice shield to get out of certain situations. Comes in handy if dealing with Arden to be able to walk through his gauntlet without getting stunned

Aegis-Helps deal with crystal power attacks. I find I use this a lot more than others besides Frostburn.

Weapon Infusion and Crystal Infusion-If you have enough gold, they can turn the tide of a fight easily by giving you a major damage boost when both used together. Even separately the extra edge is enough to win most fights.

Why the Hybrid Build Top

The hybrid builds allows for use of both Glimmershot and Active Camo effectively. At about 200 weapon power you can use Active Camo while in battle to escape. It also adds to the basic damage of Glimmershot. The Crystal power allows for better piercing damage and overall damage for Glimmershot and One Shot One Kill but most importantly allows for extended use of Active Camo to be able to go farther. With the combined weapon power and crystal power you will deal massive damage with every one of your abilities while being able to maneuver around the field to put yourself into position.

Pros/Cons Top

Pros
-Lots of damage quickly
-Can take out the final Crystal alone
-Turrets are no problem once fully built or even have main weapon power items
-Great during any fight for support from behind lines or even from anywhere on the map
-In lane can win quickly and farm without a problem while poking and avoiding ambushes
-Auto attacks do a decent amount of damage

Cons
-Dies quickly
-If other team is fed becomes difficult to last long enough in a fight
- Glimmershot runs out and needs to wait to reload
-Auto attacks slowly
-Very team oriented in order to be effective

Kestrel Play Style Top

Kestrel is a glass cannon. She does a huge amount of damage very quickly but can easily be taken down or pushed away. This build focuses on using Glimmershot with auto attacks. If you've played Kestrel you know that using Glimmershot runs out quickly and then you have to wait to reload it. With this build you should do enough damage and quickly enough to either take down many other characters or bring their health down enough to follow with Active Camo and let Glimmershot reload to use it again to finish the job. Also don't forget about One Shot One Kill on fleeing enemies. You will rarely want to run into a 1v1 fight with Kestrel unless you are in the beginning of a match and have been poking for a little bit. Kestrel is a team player because how fast she can die. Stay back and land your Glimmershots. Once fully built you will be able to take down turrets within seconds using all four Glimmershots. Also you can use Active Camo to sneak all the way over to the final crystal and take it out quickly before the other team can get back.

Key Plays and Tips Top

-Land Glimmershot, missing not only causes you to be at a disadvantage but due to its reload time can be the death of you in a fight.

-Know when to use Active Camo to get in, out, and around in a fight. Time the use of the detonation in order to stun and deal bonus damage to an enemy following you.

- One Shot One Kill as an opener and closer in fights. Use it to not just kill but to scare the enemy or force them back to their home base.

-Know which situational items are needed and when to rush core items

-Use Active Camo during a fight to give yourself time to reload Glimmershot, then unload to take down enemy heroes

-If you have more attack speed Glimmershot reloads faster. I rarely get more attack speed because I focus on dealing bigger hits and getting out.

Early Game Top

If you know how to play lane then Kestrel is the same. Make sure to get the final shot on minions and avoid ambushes. Use your Glimmershot not to take out minions but to poke the enemy lane hero. Only go back when needed to purchase next items. I usually only do this after i take out the other lane hero or when low on health. Keep poking and use potions for health and for mana. Buy boots to escape and learn when to use Active Camo to escape back to your turret for protection. Buy situational items if you need extra health, armor, shield, etc. If getting poked a lot rush build for Lifespring in order to not have to go back to your base to heal or waste potions.

Mid Game Top

By now you have enough weapon power to deal major damage to most other enemy heroes quickly and be a major assets in a team fight. It helps when going into a fight to enter with One Shot One Kill in order to take down tons of health before the fight even starts and let your jungle jump in for the kill right as it starts. Timed right with a good Taka or Koshka will allow for a quick kill and make the fight 3v2 in your favor. Use your Glimmershot accurately and watch out for minions to get in the way of your shots. If you find your health is being taken down to fast not in battle but by poking rush build for Fountain of Renewal to quickly get back in the fight and help your teammates out in the process.

Late Game Top

Once fully built you will be a major target for the other team. Not just because you are easy to take out but because you are doing damage at an alarming rate. Stay behind your team to avoid being taken out and know when to use Active Camo to avoid targeting while still being engaged in the fight. Keep an eye on the mini map. Your One Shot One Kill goes through the whole map and only gets stopped by turrets, kraken, and the gold mine. If you see a teammate about to engage an enemy use One Shot One Kill to deal damage out of no where and surprise the enemy. This also allows an easy fight for your teammate. One Shot One Kill Will also scare the other team or force them back to their base if their health gets to low. This allows for a stronger push to their side.

End Game Top

This is only to be done if you have destroyed all the turrets. Use the end game build if you have enough gold and use Active Camo to get all the way to the other teams Final Crystal. You will be able to take it out with a little more than four Glimmershots. Don't forget to stay invisible and use Active Camo if needed to reload and finish off the crystal. It is a risky move but if done right pays off with a win. It works well if the other team has just unleashed the kraken because they are more focused on destroying the turrets and your crystal. With the speed increase from the weapon power and the longer duration from the crystal power you'll have no trouble making your way to the enemy side without being noticed. Also use your Journey Boots to get over there even faster. This is an all or nothing move. You either take out the final crystal or die trying.
