I feel like Samuel is a bit overpowered right now, which is common for newly released heroes. His A ability, Malice and Verdict, does an immense amount of damage if you land both shots. I respect the fact that they can be hard to aim. I know that Reim's A ability, Winter Spire, does 40 more damage with both hits on Overdrive, but it has shorter range and is harder to hit both shots in my opinion. Samuel's Drifting Dark B is great in lane, due to the fact that it takes up the entire lane, and I'm definitely not complaining about that. His Oblivion ultimate is the one thing in his skillset that I don't like. It's easy for most players to dodge because of the long delay. However, this is only my opinion.

I think that every new Hero is OP in the beginning, in the next updated probably will be nerfed

If I had to bet I would bet that his Corrupted Genius and his empowered Malice & Verdict will probably see a nerf. It's a tad too easy to refill everything with the Corrupted Genius I love that about him, but I could foresee a nerf there. The empowered Malice & Verdict travel off the screen, so it's quite a huge range he can cover. I love playing him, I hope there aren't too many nerfs. I was kinda disappointed at all the nerfs that hit Lyra but in the end it wasn't that bad. Bright Bulwark still does it's job, you just can't set it up and run all the way back to base before it comes down now. As for the Oblivion I find it easier to catch players than I thought. It's really tough to see coming if you aren't paying attention, and his movement action doesn't give it away like Adagio floating up in the air before his ult. A little anticipation, and learning the right times to throw it really makes oblivion powerful.

You certainly have a point.

I agree with most of this kind of stuff. But SEMC will probably need him as they did with all the other heroes as soon as Samuel costs Glory or something. I doubt they'll dial him down that much. But I get your drift.
