Using Alpha's Abilities Top

Infinite Reboot - Alpha's perk gives her a second life, unless your enemies are able to kill you before your reboot time is completed. Having the reboot health scale off of bonus Max Energy allows CP Alpha to be even more effective with items such as Clockwork and Halcyon Chargers.
- After "dying" Alpha is put in a stasis where after 3.5 seconds.
- After 3.5 seconds Alpha revives with both (A) and (B) off of cooldown.

Prime Directive - This is your gap closer and what allows Alpha to stick to targets. This ability will also work on structures and jungle monsters as well.
- After scanning in a straight line Alpha will apply a slow and dash behind an enemy, structure, or jungle monster while removing the negative effects of Core Charge.
- Can be used to engage and chase.

Core Charge - This is the reason why Aftershock is a core item on Alpha. The cooldown is decreased by basic attacks so Alpha can continue to spam it while procing Aftershock.
- Alpha dashes forward and basic-attacks her target.
- Ability costs 2% of her health, subsequent Core Charges increase the cost and damage.
- Every stack of Core Charge will give her passive lifesteal.

Termination Protocol - Alpha's Ulti allows her to keep fighting for a longer amount of time and deal a lot of damage from her explosion to finish off low enemies. To maximize this, wait until you're at low health then activate it.
- Alpha gains a barrier and temporarily increased movement speed.
- After 3 seconds she self-destructs and begins Infinite Reboot.
- Only available when Infinite Reboot is ready.

Itemization Top

Core Item

Aftershock - Given how spammable Core Charge is, Alpha can abuse Aftershock easily to deal massive damage. 13% Max Health damage is nothing to laugh at.

CP Items

Broken Myth - Shield pierce to deal with defense.

Clockwork - A really good item for Alpha, giving her more Max Energy and Cooldown Speed that will help her survive in Infinite Reboot and make Core Charge available more often.

Dragon's Eye - The CP equivalent to Breaking Point, in long fights Alpha can build up more CP to deal even more damage.

Eve of Harvest - Lifesteal items work well with Core Charge to provide insane sustain for Alpha in fights, this will also give her more Max Energy for her Infinite Reboot.

Shatterglass - More CP for Alpha to scale off of.

Spellfire - Situational item if you're CP heavy and need the Mortal Wounds on top of the burn damage.

WP Items

Bonesaw - Buy this to shred the enemy armor when they buy defensively.

Breaking Point - In long fights Breaking Point will turn you into a monster with huge amounts of WP.

Poisoned Shiv - If you want some lifesteal and Mortal Wounds to counter-build someone such as Krul or sustain-reliant heroes.

Serpent Mask - An alternative to Poisoned Shiv if you don't need the Mortal Wounds and only want more lifesteal and raw damage.

Sorrowblade - Gives Alpha more raw WP to deal damage with.

Spellsword - The main usage of this item is for the Cooldown Speed while also building WP so Alpha doesn't have to go into a CP item to bring up her abilities more often.

Tension Bow - The passive from this can let Alpha do even more burst with Aftershock proc, and the Armor Pierce is useful.

Tornado Trigger - Rarely bought but the attack speed and extra crit can help in certain matchups.

Tyrant's Monocle - Similar to Tornado Trigger this gives WP instead of attack speed to add on more burst damage.

Defense Items

Aegis - This will usually always be bought on Alpha unless the enemy team has no CP damage dealers and/or no CC-heavy heroes. The Reflex Block will save you in many situations and the defensive stats will keep you alive.

Atlas Pauldron / Metal Jacket - Most of the time Atlas Pauldron will be the better choice against attack speed-reliant heroes such as Ringo, Krul, and SAW. Metal Jacket will give more defensive stats but will not reduce attack speed like Atlas Pauldron.

Note: I would highly recommend that as Alpha, you should build 2 defense items on most games. She isn't very innately tanky and as the front line survivability and dueling power is crucial to her. Only buying 1 defense item will make her more vulnerable to death/reboot before she can secure a kill.

Boots

Halcyon Chargers - The best option for Alpha as it gives Max Energy and lowers cooldowns even more.

Journey Boots - Not needed as often because Alpha already has 2 gapclosers, but can be useful against more mobile heroes / matchups.

Jungling w/ Alpha Top

Early Game

Early on, start with Core Charge to clear jungle camps until you hit level 3. At this point you will have 1 point in Prime Directive and 2 points in Core Charge. Now, you can either choose to gank or counter jungle. Ganking can help snowball your carry(ies), while counter jungling will push the enemy Jungler / Roam further down in farm and XP.

What is Ganking / Counter Jungling?

- Ganking : As a jungler you will be running around the map waiting for good opportunities to jump onto a carry in their lane with help from your own carry to secure a kill. Be patient and don't rush.

- Counter Jungling : This is when you invade the enemy jungle to steal jungle camps and buffs. This is another thing to do if your lanes are already winning or there are no good opportunities to go for a gank. Be careful however if the enemy has vision in their jungle, take what you can and don't be greedy.

Mid Game

By now if you got a few successful ganks and stole a good amount of farm from the enemy, start building more defensively with items such as Aegis and Atlas Pauldron. Since you'll be fighting in the front, most likely you'll be focused so building defense will help you stay alive. Continue to group together and place vision in objectives. DO NOT force objectives that you cannot win/take. (i.e. Kraken, Blackwing, and Ghostwing)

Late Game

Keep everyone moving together as a group and push lanes. In teamfights, try to jump onto a stray carry with Prime Directive to deter their attention to you, which will then allow your allies to focus more important targets and help you out. Make sure you're not in a bad position when Infinite Reboot starts, you can easily die by being out in the open.
