2
Petal Burst her down Easy! her munions may be painful but you have a 2nd life...
3
Lorelai Target her first if can. She is very squishy but her Ult is so strong that make her hard to kill
3
Vox same as Ringo but very mobile and has silence
3
Skye same as Vox very mobile and watch out for her Ability combos reflex block if can
3
Celeste same as baron burst damage hurts so bad plus a stun. target her first because she very fraglie easy death to her watch out for her snipe
3
Baron His burst damage hurts alot painful when rebooting, target him first because his very slow ever his overdriven B can block any thing and WP Baron jump faster making it harder the chase when he flees
3
Glaive desdly butyou can easily defeat him just don't get out of position when he knock you out
3
Catherine Watch out for her bubble, especially when your CP cus she can bounce your damage back to you and your allies when her bubble is active; engage when her bubble is out. Also watch out for her stunand silence combo.
3
Grumpjaw you can kill him even if he is tankiier than you but watch out for his Ult, he'll bring you the turret for you to get killed. very cheeky right?
4
Kestrel look out for her mist and her snipe especially if she is CP just stick to her, she can flee with her B if your always stick to her
4
Alpha Well this one is so easy May the best CP Alpha win! but if its WP Alpha you'll surely win
4
Varya A little hard to kill because of her high mobility and the barrier from her B when she dashes through you, your teammates and your minions and objectives. spread out when her Ult is activated
4
Rona i never fought with Rona but she can reduce your healing per stack and dominate you with her Ult
4
Joule Her perk is very annoying her B stun hurts with her A and Ult combo her Ult snipe are annoying too
4
Taka my noob days main. a good taka will kill your carry first, if you're fighting him be sure to have vision cus he will be a pain in the ass if he keeps on Ult, A and B combo over and over to kill you he is very fragile buy hard to kill if he stealths when he flees use your A and predict where he is going her A will reveal any stealth hero like Taka a good taka will Kaiten your Ult Explosion and your B when fighting
5
Reza im having a hard time killing him but others could kill him easily His netherforn is deadly though
6
Baptiste his B and Ult combo is nuisance use reflex block when going out of the B just like you would get out a gauntlet of ardan
7
Koshka can ruin your early game but still very easy to kill
7
Blackfeather somewhat a little hard to kill especially if WP Blackfeather just burst him down
8
Ozo very high sustain = very annoying but kill able
9
Krul you know why he is called the king of duels... never 1v1 him and always buy Atlas Pauldron
10
Reim His root si very annoying if spammed the root wont make you use your Core Charge continuously

Update Notes Top

Updated to 3.0

Spellfire is good buy now cus it has mortal wounds, a great counter when matching up with krul, reim, healers and lifesteal items! but it is still a situational item though

I added and updated builds according to the latest update

there is new build the Stormcrown build or low cooldown build

i removed the hybrid build and the highest win rate build cus its very ineffective and its outdated

Intro Top

Welcome to my CP Alpha Guide update 2.10
Hi I'm new to the website but not in VG so i don't know how to things in the forum works
this guid is a straight forward guideno fancy pictures or statistical analysis or whatever

*note any typo ang awkward grammar saw here in the guide is unintentional because i use and ipad to make this guide

Here in this guide there are 4 builds

1. The Dragon's eye build now it just the CP build
2. The WP build
3. The Hybrid build (Spellsword and Aftershock)
Lastly... 4. Core builds that work (based on my experience)

chapters will only tackle the core items because other items are self explanatory

Im currently a Alpha main I still prefer her CP build because of high burst dmg and heal by aftershock
but WP is also deadly her heal per basic attack is insane so serpent's mask is unnecessary

Updating the guide to the new 2.11 update and to the 3.0 update! make sure to upvote this guide!

Alpha CP build Top

This build replicates the old pre 2.9 build which is the Aftershock and old Broken Myth

but i changed this build to a standard CP build cus Dragon's eye is weak if you want to burst down your target faster

Your Core is just two items
Aftershock and Shatterglass

Aftershock gives cooldown speed, instant burst lifesteal, burst damage and the power spike
Dragon's Eye works like the old Broken Myth without the 10% shield pierce it has stacks and (I think) better its than Shatterglass because around 9 stack of Dragon's Eye is a total of 180 compared to Shatterglass's 150 cp but i think my computation is wrong who knows

other items are self explanatory except the third T3 item
although AS and DE is enough for Alpha, the third T3 CP item is only situational

Broken Myth
— due to Alpha's high damage input, BM is potent to make the most of its CP
also if they built double Aegis just for you

Dragon's Eye
— once was the core build but since it got a little nerf (because of slow stacking in update 3.0), I change it to Shatterglass because its more effective now that Dragon's Eye.Buy Dragon's Eye only if you know that teamfights or clashes will be long

Alternating Current
— a very old Alpha build has AC in it so Alpha can land bonus CP dmg from AC and attack speed reduces her B(Core Charge) cooldown so its like no cooldown Core Charge

Clockwork
— Reduces the reboot countdown, ability cooldown, perk cooldown and and additional 60 CP
this makes Core Charge almost no cooldown

Eve of Harvest
— if you know that the team fights are going to be long, you need this. with massive burst damage from DE will lead to massive CP lifesteal from Aftershock and Eve of Harvest. I wouldn't recommend this build because you need burst damage not sustain

Spellfire
— i didn't added spellfire to the list when it was new cus its unnecessary for Alpha to have Spellfire but the new Spellfire passive made me put it to the list. Now with Mortal Wound! Mortal wouund plus 100% of your CP as damage per second is good for me other can't see what i see though. plus all of her abilities can proc or trigger Spellfire passive so its possible to put constant and AoE mortal wounds. but its still a situational item though. use this if enemies have high sustain and healers like Lyra, Reim and Lifesteal items

you can Bulid Shatterglass first before Dragon's Eye or vice versa if you want instant CP rather taht building up CP S you fight

i don't recommend Stromcrown because Alpha has a ok jungle clear no need for true damage from the Stormcrown
but if you can't clear the jungle fast enough then just build Stormguard Banner then sell when you're going to buy the Aftershock. but it is still your choice if you going to build Stormcrown first.

CORRECTION to the color paragraph.

I recommend Stormcrown now cus it got its old self from damage per second to per hit. the damage per second Stormcrown was whack. i don't like it very much now it got its old passive its now good to be in the CP build

Whisky Papa Top

This the WP build and the core build is commonly used in other heros so nothing special

Sorrowblade and Breaking Point is very common but very powerful
WP increases the the heal per attack of Alpha when Core Overload effect is active
so Sorrowblade gives more heal per aattck
plus with Breaking Point's passive and 20% attack speed, Alpha will deal more damage over time/more damage in long fights, heal more per basic attack, and reduces her B cooldown (due to her bonus attack speed).

Next is the third T3 items

Serpent's Mask
— Gives lifesteal every attack. build one if you want to sustain more and add more healing per basic attack

Tyrant's Monocle
— You'll need this if you want Critical hits or Burst weapon damage. Highly recommend

Tornado Trigger
— Gives more attack speed and Crit hit chances. it will reduce the Core Charge's cooldown (almost no cooldown).

Bonesaw
— if the opponent has high armor like Joule or the opponent has Double Metal Jacket just for you, build this. it also reduces B cooldown

Poisoned Shiv
— build this if you want to sustain more and to reduce healing effects of the enemys (great for Reim, Krul and Healer like Lyra, Grace and Adagio

Spellword doesn't do much other than lowering the cooldown of her ability. the energy recharge per hit of the Spellsword doesn't lessen the cooldown of her C i think...

Ability path Top

About ability path...

You will always Overdrive B because this is your source of damage even if your WP
when fighting, always spam B even if your WP why?
The B is a short gap closer and has WP and CP ratio so also WP benefit from Spamming Core Chrage(B)

then overdrive A so you can reach enemies even farther

overdrive the Ult if you want your reboot time and cooldown to be reduced but it isn't recommended in both CP and WP,in CP the Clockwork and the Aftershock reduces the the Ult cooldown and in WP i think its unnecessary to Overdrive the Ult over A the consequence is you won't reach enemies farther if the isn't overdriven
