VOX is a ranged character, As a ranged hero, the best thing you can do is to deal damage to the enemy team while taking less damage as possible. There are two paths to play vox, -Weapon to burst down a single target as quick as possible, and -Crystal to deal damage to multiple enemies in a team fight.
but for this guide. i will be teaching you guys my crystal VOX build :) hope you'll like it

Adagio is one of the most used hero played with vox because of his abilities that helps vox stay alive in combats and makes vox deal more than expected damage to the enemy heroes.
-Adagio's Abilities
Adagio heals a target ally and splashes arcane fire damage onto nearby enemies dealing damage every second, And if adagio heals himself he'll also slow nearby enemies by 70% for 1.5 seconds,
Overdriving this ability will give ally heroes 130 + 80% crystal ratio burst heal so i suggest overdriving this ability specially if you are with a vox to help him stay alive on team fights because vox is always a focus target every team fight because of how he deals damage to the enemy team. And you can also use this ability to slow enemies to help vox stay away from them while dealing damage.
Temporarily increases target ally hero's basic attack power for 6 seconds. Deals 50% more base damage to enemies burning with arcane fire. if adagio targets himself, deals an additional 20% more base damage
I also suggest overdriving this ability, this ability if maxed, will give a 115+85% crystal ratio bonus damage. This ability is the key to win team fights with vox, but always remember to buff vox at the right time, communication with your vox player is important . once done at the right time, VOX can easily destroy almost 3/4 health of enemy heroes, the most important thing to communicate with the vox player is to know if his pulse are on cooldown, because without vox's pulse his sonic zoom will not throw 2 basic attacks right away to the enemy hero if not affected by resonance pulse.
Adagio channels for 2 seconds then deals grievous damage to all enemies in a wide rune-marked ring around him. Enemies burning with Arcane Fire are also going to be stunned. While channeling, Adagio temporarily gains fortified health during channeling.
If playing with vox, i do not max this ability, this ability is used situationally, you only use this ability when enemy team focus you, when the enemy team focus you, try to use
gift of fire on your self and then use
verse of judgement to last longer in team fights. lasting longer on team fights as adagio is important specially if you are a carry and you are with a VOX, to buff him and wipe out the enemy and make vox last long in team fights.

Ardan is also very good with vox, almost the same reason as adagio, this hero helps vox stay alive, helps him chase enemies or run from them. ardan is also good with vox since ardan is a very tanky hero that can go in and peel for vox once you have
-Ardan's abilities
HEROIC PERK. Ardan heals for 1% of his missing health every time he takes damage the healing can never exceed 75% of the damage taken. Instead of energy, Ardan uses a yellow meter called Vengeance. Vengeance builds over time and can also be gained with basic attack, critical strikes and abilities. Because Ardan has no energy, any bonus energy (5%) and energy regeneration (50%) are converted to crystal power.
Ardan dashes to an ally, damaging and slowing nearby enemies while granting the target a burst of move speed and a 3 -second barrier that scales with 15% of ardan's bonus health.
using this ability helps vox survive on team fights by giving vox a health barrier and bonus movement speed to help vox run, this ability also helps vox to chase enemies. i also suggest overdriving this ability because it gives 170 health barrier and 250 damage to anyone who's near the vanguard target.
Ardan leaps forward and basic attack his target. blood for blood can only be activated when ardan has 100% vengeance and will consume all of it.
I also suggest overdriving this ability, because you can also deal huge amount of damage in team fights while helping vox without the enemy noticing since you are only a roam character and enemy will sure focus vox every team fights. this ability makes ardan peel for vox every team fights, since he is a very tanky character because of his perk and at the same time he can deal good amount of damage once you got
Ardan throws down the gauntlet, projecting a perimeter around the target area and gaining full vengeance. enemies who touch or cross the perimeter are stunned and take crystal damage successfully stunning an enemy grants ardan vengeance. if ardan leaves the perimeter it is immediately destroyed.
This ability is a very important ability specially for team fights, this ability has a lot of purpose.
1st is to close the whole enemy team in one place for vox to throw his ultimate ability
to easily hit them all and to burst them down specially for crystal vox.
2nd Is to separate enemy heroes, separating the enemy team is very important, because you can just focus on the enemy who's inside the gauntlet and kill 1-2 enemy right away .
3rd is to help teammates specially for vox to run away from the focus fire that the enemy does to him and helps vox to deal damage to the enemy team while taking less damage.

-slot: Heroic Perk
Vox's basic attacks also deal 34-68 (level 1-12) +35% of crystal power as bonus damage. When attacking enemies with Resonance, this damage will bounce to two nearby enemies and refresh Resonance on that target.
Since Vox's basic attack deals base crystal damage, the item "Broken Myth" really is strong for vox, because every attack of vox gives you 1 broken myth stacks

Vox dashes in the targeted direction, throwing two attacks to the nearest enemy marked by Resonance (prioritizing heroes).
this ability can be used in a different ways, sonic zoom can help Chase enemies or Run away from them, this ability only has a short range but can be used often because it has short cool down.

Slot: B
Vox emits a sonic pulse that echoes off nearby enemies and applies Resonance. The pulse applies a slow that is significantly stronger near its center. Each upgrade to Pulse increases the damage Vox's basic & bouncing attacks deal to targets with Resonance.
this is vox's most important ability. the time this ability is maxed. the resonance bounce deals more damage than the enemy you attacked. this ability also helps you clear minion waves faster + using your sonic zoom

Slot: Ultimate, C
Vox fires an ultrasonic wave that applies Resonance to enemies in its path and refreshes all Resonance. Shortly after, a wide shockwave explodes along the same path, dealing crystal damage and silencing enemies. Striking enemy heroes with the shockwave will also cause Resonance to bounce.
using this ability is important, position yourself well. and try to hit and silence the best target every team fight. + sonic zoom to burst them down.
Vox is a very weak early game character, specially lvl 1, for early game the thing you need to focus on is to LAST HIT MINIONS. Farming well is what you need to be a good vox, once you know you cleared the minion wave and have enough gold to buy an item, or help jungle team fight, then thats the perfect time to rotate down. playing safe, farm, and map awareness is the early game key for vox to last till late game and do well on team fights at the late stage of the game.
Vox sometimes can be an aggressive early game laner depending on who's hero you are against in lane. vox does well early game against melee heroes because of his pulse.
Once Level 6-9 that's where vox starts to scale, once vox has his ultimate, this is when you should start planning your team fights, vox's ultimate is very important to hit, since it silences the enemy and applies resonance to the target that gets hit + your sonic zoom will deal a lot of damage specially when crystal. and this phase of game where you are lvl 6-9 is where you start getting or building your first core item, to be precise your "Alternating Current".
This is the time where you'll get the important abilities maxed, for a crystal vox maxing your PULSE(b ability) is very important, because it will give you the chance to deal more damage to everyone at once. and at this point of game this is the time where you will get all of your core items, but remember vox needs to be positioned well to last in team fights and do well for the team, vox is a very squishy hero, dealing as much damage as you can to the enemy while takins less damage from them is what you need. vox gets focused a lot in every team fight that's why staying behind and never face check bushes with him not just for late game but for early and mid game too.
The most important tips that i can give you for vox is to:
position yourself well on where you can take the least amount of damage while dealing huge amount of damage.
and another is how you farm/last hit is really important since vox without that much tier3 item is really not that strong. use your abilities at the right times :)
