Core Build items Top

This build attempts to maximize the effects of Ringo's build kit. Tyrant's Monocle drastically increases the damage dealt by Ringo's Double Down ability while Stormguard Banner allows Ringo to maintain an imposing presence in the lane by boosting his true damage dealt to lane minions and gaining health regeneration.

Ringo should build towards increased weapon power with Sorrowblade and increased critical damage with Minion's Foot or Lucky Strike. Use this combination as a way to press the opposing laner early by killing a minion and then using Achilles Shot to consistently deal critical damage and force them to retreat, easily rebuffing them from your turret. I cannot stress this point enough. Dealing repeated damage with this method will cause the opposing laner to go home 2 to 3 times before you go home once giving you strong presence in the lane.

Many players believe you need a Tornado Trigger as a Ringo, but once you practice stutter stepping a little you realize Tyrant's Monocle works much better in tandem with his build kit--allowing for massive damage on every Double Down shot. After using this method, you will realize the increased attack speed from Tornado Trigger is extremely marginal and often isn't enough to help consistently win team fights.

Clockwork also plays an integral role in this build by allowing Ringo to constantly reuse and abuse Twirling Silver, providing him with both increased damage output and agility. With Clockwork and level 5 Twirling Silver there is a 1 second cooldown before you can reuse Twirling Silver. This allows for some pretty extreme stutter stepping capability.

Starting Items Top

Use Twirling Silver to last hit minions and make sure to only use Achilles Shot on the enemy laner, preferably utilizing Double Down every time.

Early Game~5 minutes Top

Total Additional Cost: 2000

Optional Vision

Heavy Steel should always be the first item you buy when you return home. This is critical to keeping the enemy laner at bay. You should be able to get this all in the first 5 minutes and you should also do your best to get this all in one trip home. Remember, more time spent out of the lane in the opening minutes means progress for your enemies. If, however, you are unable to buy it all in one trip use this list as the order of importance:

Late Early Game~8 minutes Top

Total Additional Cost: 1300

Should be able to get this all in one trip home. This is a critical stage in the early game. Ringo is not viewed as an early game hero and it is essential you make it to this stage as quickly as possible. Doing this by 6 minutes is best case scenario and very very difficult, but the closer to 6 minutes you can get this the better off the rest of the game you will be. If you get to this point quickly, you will be able to continually poke your enemy laner which will drastically increase the amount of time it takes for them to make it to their mid game.

Mid Game~10-12 Minutes Top

Total Additional Cost: 3800
First Trip Back Second Trip Back

Late Mid Game~15-18 Minutes Top

Total Additional Cost: 3000
First Trip Back Second Trip Back

Late Game~22 Minutes Top

Total Additional Cost: 2050

High Armor Enemy Alternative

Total Additional Cost: 1800

End Game~25-28 Minutes Top

Total Additional Cost: 2850

High Armor Enemy Alternative

Total Additional Cost: 2700
