 Lance Lance is a great counter to alpha in many ways. His a can root and his b can stun you and can cancel your a. His root can be deadly when using your ultimate.

General playstyle Top

This build is great with taking objectives and beating down tanks. Many playstyles can be used with this build. Many heroes can kite you so maybe trying to act like a koshka jumping in and out and using your ultimate for the final blow.
