A bit about me
Hey guys I'm an frequent vainglory player and I hope that you stop for some time to read this. I started off loving meelee characters and played glaive, Krul, and Koshka. I started getting bored so I moved over to things like ringo and fox when he came out. I'm usually a damage dealer but when my team needs it even if I'm a petal I'll build support. One quick thing I'm going to say is always try new things because this build could do well with even Catherine. Now I've moved back to playing more defensive protecter and sometimes ringo. My vainglory ING is: Delta_The_Hunter is you ever want to talk or play. Stop by at night for fun mini games and meet new people.
A story of Glaive
This means war. Glaive is usually thought to be a damage dealer beast who shreds through armor jackets with bonesaw, leaping around with his afterburner, and also hitting every target within a 5 meter range with
Twisted stroke and
Bloodsong. Now, let's take a different look at him. He is such a good person to have on the team, he is already a tank able to absorb enough damage to live and send it back to the owner! But, what if we made a change and turned him into an even bigger tank?

Support Build
The first thing you want to do when getting in the game is get an iron guard contract, 2 pots, and either a
Scout Trap or a
Flare. Rush down the shop and but another
Flare and see where the enemy is. If they are all coming to middle get your team there and wait to suprise them.
Wait to upgrade twisted stroke of afterburn till you see them.
If they are not coming to middle get twisted stroke and start farming with your jungles. If they are, get afterburner and when one is running away or you need a quick escape hit them around.
Middle game
By now the deaths you have, if you have any, will be less than early game. You'll be more tanks than anyone except
Catherine but you do way more damage. By now if your building right you would have
Fountain of Renewal and more tier one things such as
Stormguard Banner. If your building aggressive this is about when you get your Blazing Bravo or your
Piercing Spear.
Late Game to End
In the end it really matters about teamwork! If you don't stick together that is one of the reasons you WILL lose. Some of the best things are to go to the shop and keep buying flares. Also, putting scout traps in places where they can't be triggered is an awesome way to keep a track without having to keep using up money. By now your a armor crushing brute or an afterburn-holic. Depends if you build aggressive or
Clockwork. Whenever you can poke the enemies and send them back into the deadly hands of your teammates. Even if an enemy glaive hits you back to his team you are a tank so just walk it off and use
Fountain of Renewal or use afterburn and get back to your team.
Last Hitting Creeps
Let your teammate last hit. You may say that you don't get enough money or levels but remember this
IS a support build. Let your teammate know that you want to first engage since you are the tank and start hitting. You'll get the bonus gold from getting hit 5 times very fast and also since they buffed the 20% of loot bounty on iron guard to a 30% you can get 1/3 more XP and money which will help you in the end. After getting minions down at least to half health just don't hit and let your teammate take it from there. This is a good way to stay efficient in gold making and staying together.
Coming later: Crit Glaive
