I always build up on Goop most quickly... At level 5 it's very deadly.

I aim for Frostburn, then Clockwork, then Coat of Plates (if needed), then Eve of Harvest, then Metal Jacket, then Aftershock.

Early game, you might want an iron guard contract, but it pays for itself well before you sell it.
