My personal Koshka build Top
This is not a guide really, this is just a build I use and find the most success with. I just wanted to share it with anyone that might find this build helpful for them.
Why so many Fountain of Renewals? Top
Good question, but the reason for it is the relatively affordable cost in gold. Fountain of Renewal is very useful in my eyes for it provides a good amount of health, shielding, and armor. You can purchase it relatively fast and can keep stacking up on them. I feel that it is more useful than Atlas Pauldron and Metal Jacket even when fighting high WP enemies. The passive effect can really help regen some missing health while weaving out of battle, and it's active effect can be very helpful to you and your team mates in team battles. This is kind of why I would choose Fountain over Aegis for it is helpful to the whole team, rather than to just protect yourself.
Support Assassin? Top
I believe Koshka can be an amazing protector and supporter for the team, especially with this build. Say your lane hero is in trouble, Yummy Catnip Frenzy can save your team mates in trouble. It allows either time to get away from a dangerous enemy, and/or it makes that enemy vulnerable for a kill. However, using Yummy Catnip Frenzy on a attack oriented Koshka can be very risky since she is so squishy; use it at the wrong moment and BANG you are dead. However, super tanky Koshka doesn't give a sh*t because it takes a hell of a lot to bring her down.
Crucible jacks up her health, while also giving you Relex Block for the team to help them whenever they are in trouble, or doing something very stupid. Either way, Crucible helps the team and yourself.
Fountain of Renewal was explained above which basically said it bulked you up with health, shielding, and armor, while giving your team a very helpful active effect.
Wait, only 1 attack item? Top
Yes, Koshka doesn't really need all the extra attack boosts. She is a very strong attack hero as it is, she only needs Aftershock to keep up with everyone else. The focus of this build is to support and even carry your team. High CP or WP can put opposing enemies in some pain, however the squishiness will kill you before they even notice their health went down. Burst damage can insta-kill some heroes, but many players are anticipating that. They don't often anticipate a Koshka that can actually slug it out.
Aftershock destroys lives, but all the defense items saves yours (and even your team's).
Burst damage goes mostly goes hand-in-hand with players who only care about swooping in for that last kill *cough* *cough* (Taka), and then run right out of harms way because they can't handle sustained fights. Just getting kills shouldn't be the main drive, helping your team win should be. Believe me, most players enjoy seeing players actually help out and display good team work, rather than inner-competition among teammates for who can get the most kills.
Just a little side note Top
Stick alongside your teammates (either in the jungle or in the bushes by the lane. They often will need your help. The Ironguard Contract can help with some extra missed gold in the mean time. This does not mean don't kill the jungle monsters, you definitely need to do that lol. Just make sure you keep an eye on everyone and check in on them in case they are running into an ambush and need Mighty Cat Koshka to save the day.
