Grace is a high resistance hero, with Healing and some good damages. She is principally a Roam, but her WP route is also very played. But what about her CP? That is what this guide is about.
She benefits a lot from her passive, Retribution, for both WP and CP, because for WP the 2nd attack has AoE (With the same damage than a normal attack) and her cooldowns, useful for her CP, WP and Roam routes because it is always the same effect (1.5s Cooldown reduction).
Grace is normally a Roam with some CP, but principally a Roam. She has potential abilities to become a strong CP damage dealer, but she has a big trouble: Her Passive, Retribution. Yes, it is quite nice her basic attacks with AoE and Cooldown lowering, but it has trap: All her effects from abilities limit to 200 CP. Effects are the Holy Shields and Damage Reduction from her Benediction. So, yes, you can get more CP for your abilities, but it won't be very effective. It is preferible to focus in another areas, like Cooldowns or defenses than in a more expensive and with reduced effects item.
Shatterglass: Adds CP to increase Holy Shields, damage reduction, Damage and Healing.
Clockwork: Gives Energy to be able to use Holy Nova many times without getting out of energy, and reduces cooldowns to use Benediction and Holy Nova constantly.
Alternating Current: Adds a bit of CP, and it is quite useful for combat. With a bit more Attack Speed, you will be able to do more Retribution Basic Attacks in less time, what does mean, less cooldowns. Also Basic Attacks will do more than just low cooldown, they will do some cystal damage, making it more rentable to use your basic attacks. And don't forget the 55 CP that the object adds, making a total of 205CP.
Journey Boots: Grace has no troubles with cooldowns and energy, so Halcyon Chargers are not necesary. The Journey boots help a lot to catch enemies with your Holy Nova. Also, you can scape that annoying Melee hero who can constantly get closer to you with an ability by using B + Boots, so if the hero dodges the ability, you activate boots and run to the opposite side, scaping. If you catch it... RUN ***** RUN! try to dodge abilities like Prime Directive.
Defenses: Nothing new to say. Always Pick Aegis, and use Atlas for high Attack Speed, like Krul or SAW, and Metal Jacket to the regular-low attack speed heroes, like Gwen. A recomendation for ATlas Pauldron, is to activate it at the same time that your Benediction (Choosen on the enemy you want to put Atlas, of course), so it will be imposible to dodge the Atlas (Atlas has a delay very similar to the time that takes to grace to reach her target).
