Early Game - Items and General Strat Top
Vox's early game may not be as good against Ringo, SAW, Adagio, and many other ranged laners, but starting with crystal with help negate that difference. I rush the heavy prism blazing salvo combo as quick as I can so my resonance bounces will deal more damage and the extra attack speed will mean more attacks to get those bounces off quicker (this will lead to a very nice combo of items - shatterglass + alternating currents). Depending on how well you're controlling lane, you may be able to purchase extra items, if you are not getting caught in sticky situations or if you know you tend to over extend, I would suggest buying boots, but if you feel you can be sustainable without them, purchase a crystal bit or an eclipse prism if the money allows it. Remember too that your Pulse (B) ability can be used as a slow, if you're being chased or if you dive in and don't want to let your enemy escape. Sonic Zoom is a very handy gadget whether it be rolling out of Joule's ult or diving in to get that last Kraken hit, it works wonders, but is hard to control at first. Be careful with this ability because you may roll in to kill someone to then be slowed and killed. Sorry, got a little side-tracked hehe ;P.
Mid Game Top
By this point you should be able to purchase your shatterglass, as well as a heavy steel - leading to your sorrowblade. If you are behind in lane and are being bullied, purchase a reflex block instead of the heavy steel. If you're doing particularly well, purchase a six sins as well. You should be able to do good amounts of damage at this point, especially if the enemy has resonance on them.
Late Game Top
So, you should be hitting like a freaking train by now, especially if the enemy team hasn't built any defensive items. But, the beauty of this hybrid build allows you to dictate which path to build. Mid-Late Game you should have a shatterglass, sorrowblade combo, so see if the enemy team is building Aegis (reduces crystal power damage) or metal jacket/atlas pauldrons (reduces weapon power damage). Don't dictate what you buy solely on what their tank is building, see what their laner and other jungler is building to dictate your decision. If you see they're building an Aegis, go ahead and take a WP (Weapon Power) heavier build vs. a CP (Crystal power) build since you won't deal as much damage. If they build metal jacket or atlas pauldrons, then go CP. If they build a Crucible, stay hybrid and dish out continuous high WP and CP damage.
