Skaarf can become a perfect laner if this guide is followed. His spitfire can become as fast as Celeste's Heliogenesis with Clockwork. It can deal as much damage as Taka's X-Retsu with critical and a Tension Bow. He is my favorite character and I have ALOT of experience with him in Casual and Ranked. Eve of Harvest keeps him in the lane farming gold longer. Journey Boots help get him out of a gank and chase down enemies. Alternating Current adds crystal damage which upgrades the lifesteal from Eve of Harvest. Basically, every other basic attack does 20% lifesteal along with crystal damage from all of Skaarf's abilities. Aftershock helps you take down those tanky supports such as Ardan or Fortress. It also allows for 50% lifesteal which stacks with the 20% you already have. That adds up to 70% lifesteal! I suggest, throughout the entire game, using Goop then setting it ablaze with Spitfire. This not only causes the Goop to deal ignite damage but sets your Spitfire up with Aftershock. So you end up dealing 15% of target's max health with 70% lifesteal and also gaining an extra 20% lifesteal from the Goop that is burning the target. Adding up to a whopping 90% lifesteal off of one target (hopefully the tank). If using Sticky Skaarf, Frostburn will allow you to slow with Goop then slow up to 35% more with Spitfire's crystal damage. If using Overkill Skaarf, Shatterglass will drastically increase the lifesteal from the Alternating Current, Aftershock, and the Eve of Harvest. Used in the right spots, and correctly timed, Skaarf can dominate entire teams with Dragon Breath. If going for Sticky Skaarf, take the overdrive on Spitfire and Goop. If using Overkill Skaarf, take the overdrive on Spitfire and Dragon Breath. Dragon Breath can annihilate Kraken and any enemy, including all tanks.
