Catherine Catherine may be a problem early game, but with the help of Reflex Block her ult (which sadly, can sometimes not be visible) and her A can be blocked. Catherines could become a problem once they get ahold of a Clockwork or Contraption, since Ringo cannot take a lot of damage and must be the one dealing damage.
5
SAW Saw is a terribly annoying rival to Ringo, despite the fact his heroic perk is one of a kind. Saw is well known for early-game poke and kite, and once fed could lead to serious late game conflicts.
5
Baron Baron is tricky when it comes to teamfights, but Ringo is good at positioning, and with Reflex Block he can poke Baron continuously.
6
Fortress Fortress can be problematic in some cases; His ult and A are one of the most hard-to-deal skills in the game when it comes to teamfights, or even 2-to-1 situations. Since Ringo is more on taking down single opponents at a certain situation, having an enemy Fortress means bad news.
7
Glaive Glaive is one of the best early-game gank initiators, and can easily gank you at the first five minutes of the game.
7
Alpha Alpha can be a hard-to-kill enemy and is a bad priority when it comes to teamfights, Alpha's presence can wreck havoc during battles. Squishy carries like Ringo is an easy priority for a fighter like Alpha.
8
Blackfeather Being both a poker and ganker, Blackfeather is a must-avoid enemy with this build. His ability during mid-game teamfights is scary, and during early-game he can poke you while avoiding incoming damage.
8
Rona Despite the fact she is well known for her power during teamfights, she is also well-made for chasing prey. Ringo is a befitting prey for Rona, with her skillset.
9
Flicker Flicker is a nemesis to Ringo. Ringo is good at chasing, but not from escaping. Flicker uses his disadvantage for a reason, and could lead to a bad end.

Introduction to Guide Top

Hello there! My guide features Ringo used in certain situations, mainly with Weapon and Crystal builds!

Item Explanation Top

Weapon Carry Build

"I've noticed there's the frequency of Reflex Block in almost all situations. Why is this?" Good question. In my opinion, Reflex Block is the best defense for weapon-power laners. Ringo's purpose is "to deal as much damage as possible". Much damage can be attained with such time, which is why stuns and slows are a no-no for Ringo.

"Why is there Lucky Strike?" Lucky Strike is a friend to Ringo. His Heroic Perk and Lucky Strike pair well; More Criticals, More Damage. But hey, what about the tier three item? That would depend on your situation. You think you need more and more speed? Well Tornado Trigger is for you. Need a good start for teamfights? Tyrant's Monocle is a must buy.

"Book of Eulogies for Start?" this is depending on your enemies. But if I were to plan on a good start and when fighting Treant? I would probably go Weapon Blade but if I were to go to lane directly, Book of Eulogies is my decision because, there are a lot of early game heroes that are being processed by SEMC, and Ringo will have to adjust to the changes with either the new heroes or the fixes with other heroes (if there are).

Ringo Mechanics Top

Ringo is one of the simplest yet trickiest heroes to use. Ringo has certain boundaries and limitations that make him hard to use, but here are some rules that the game implies to Ringo.

Ringo is made for..
    - Kiting
    - Late Game Presence
    - Chasing/using abilities on the appropriate target
    - Dealing damage, but not receiving damage
    - Fast extermination of squishy but offensive targets

Ringo is NOT made for..
    - Taking down objectives without vision
    - Head-on battles
    - Chasing slippery enemies
    - Early Game Team fights

Ringo Tips Top

This chapter will be based on player experience and previous guides.

Have you wondered if you took less time and had a more faster way of playing Ringo? Well here are some tips I've learnt from my experience. If you also have an idea, I might as well add it here!

- Usage of Twirling Silver as movement boost is a common tip for Ringos, but some beginners may have
a hard time understanding this. Twirling Silver gives Ringo movement speed and attack speed. The spawn area will refund your mana use, and will give you faster movement speed.

- When kiting, avoid using Achilles Shot because this will break your rhythm. Kiting has a certain pattern and is tricky in terms of movement, so if you plan on using Twirling Silver for kiting, it's best to use Achilles Shot at the start or when attacking a fleeing enemy.

- Attack Speed and Attack Damage is very essential for Ringo, in most cases this is the common thing. But These Ringos can be counterable by Breaking Point or Tyrant's Monocle Ringos. But the main thing here is that if your Captain doesn't plan on buying Atlas Pauldron early, Buy Metal Jacket.
