Threat Hero Notes
1
Adagio His abilites shouldn't be underestimated, and the slow from his fire can be irritating, but if you dodge his ult he is a very easy kill.
1
Petal While her ult can deal massive damage and heal her, the rest of her abilites are weak against you. Kill her minions and then kill her.
2
Catherine Just make sure you don't hit her when she's shielded and you should have few problems.
2
Vox Vox shouldn't be much of a problem against you. Be careful not to stand in his ult, and your A should devastate him.
3
Celeste If you can dodge her stars and get good at dancing around the supernovae, she's actually pretty easy to get rid of.
3
Kestrel Her Glimmershot will be your worst problem. Her ultimate is pretty easy to dodge, so simply force her to waste her arrows and then hit her hard.
4
Skaarf The flaming hot dog does quite a bit of damage with his Fan the Flames in the beginning, but your mobility allows you to escape his Goop fairly easily. Even in late game, watch out for his ultimate.
5
Fortress A bit tougher since you will be squishy until late game. Keep your distance and use A to slow his approach and you should be fine.
5
Krul Krul can be a menace if, and only if, he reaches you and sustains the fight for long enough. Hit him with the A while you retreat, then kite him and Hellfire will do the rest.
5
Rona If she hits you with her Into the Fray, don't stick around. Letting her regen health is exactly what you don't want to do. Retreat after firing an A and if she follows you, activate Twirling Silver and end her.
6
Blackfeather If he's in lane, bully him out in the early game. It is your one chance to beat him because if he hits his late game build, it's over.
7
Phinn His Quibble hits like a truck and his super can pull you close, where you don't wanna be. Have an aftershock if you're fighting him and use your speed to your advantage.
7
Taka Taka is a problem largely because of his X-Retsu. This will cause you to bleed, and when coupled with his Kaiten, can leave you struggling to survive. On top of this, if you get him low he can use his Kaku before you get a chance to use your ult and finish him.
8
Ardan He can get close and wall you in. It's best to have Aftershock against him unless the two carries are very squishy.
8
Joule Her wall leap can really mess you up unless you have a reflex block, and her ultimate is very very powerful. The fact that she's naturally armored in the front will also be a slight challenge.
8
Ringo Against another Ringo, it comes down to skill with abilities. If you know the range of your Achilles Shot and how powerful your ult is, you should be able to kill him. This matchup takes a lot of practice to master!
9
Koshka Everything about Koshka defies this build. The way she can leap into you with her Pouncy Fun and then keep you there with her ult is scary. Avoid in the early game unless you have a team.
9
SAW Saw is a huge problem in the early game, but not so much later. You will need a team to gank him as much as possible. Try, if you can, to stay out of his Suppressing Fire (that thing has so much range). If you stay under your turret like you're supposed to, his Roadie Run will be equivalent to suicide.
10
Glaive A monster in the early game, and even worse in the late game. Glaive is naturally tanky, and the threat of his Afterburn means you should almost never leave the safety of your turret in the beginning.
10
Skye Against Skye, your goal should be to survive until late game. Her Forward Barrage does insane damage, and her Suri Strike can rip you in half. Luckily, however, your speed from boots and Twirling Silver make it much easier to escape her ultimate.

How to Play Crystal Ringo Top

Crystal Ringo should be played as more of a "burst assassin" rather than the sustained damage carry of a Weapon Ringo. The early game Crystal Ringo should operate in one of two patterns, according to the threat meter associated with this build.

1: If the opposing hero in the lane is on the low end of the threat meter, a Crystal Ringo should aggressively bully in the early game. This means using Achilles Shot whenever you can to get in little spurts of damage, all the while staying at or near the safety of a turret. In addition to this, upon activating Twirling Silver you should be getting in 1-3 basic attacks from Twirling Silver on the enemy hero. This forces them to either back off, which limits their gold intake, call for backup, (which if you play right should not result in your death), use all their Halcyon potions and have to keep returning to base for more, or die.

2: If the opposing hero in the lane is on the high end of the threat meter, you should only use Achilles Shot to bully them. Stay under your turret, and don't worry about too much damage to your first turret. Try to avoid stunning abilities or slowing abilities as they make you extremely easy to gank.

Crystal Ringo players should never hesitate to call in jungling teammates to kill a threatening enemy or eliminate a weak and slippery one. Such ganks can keep enemies' respawn timers running high and your gold counts even higher. Don't despair over early game pressure from the enemy, or slippery enemies who seem to escape you with low health every time. Keep in mind that once you unlock your ult, laning will become much easier. Opponents who find themselves low on health can simply fall to the massive damage from your Hellfire Brew, awarding you a hefty gold bonus.

When to Buy Certain Items Top

There is a discrepancy in the above build surrounding Aftershock and Broken Myth. Build Aftershock when you need to fight an extremely tanky hero. This means an Ardan, a Phinn, a Krul, or even a Glaive. The percent damage from the Aftershock will allow you to take out portions of their health with your abilities and basic attacks. Build Broken Myth when fights are taking a long time or by default when neither of these things are happening. The increasing sustained damage from Broken Myth means that if you use your A to open a fight, by the end of the fight, when your A is ready again, the damage from your Alternating Current basic attacks and your A will be enough to eliminate targets, with the absolutely massive damage from Hellfire Brew being enough to finish even moderately healthy escaping opponents.

Also, buy defense according to your own needs. I use Aegis and Atlas Pauldron to represent slots that can be used for defensive items.

Achilles Shot: Your Best Friend Top

Almost all of the damage from Crystal Ringo comes from your Achilles Shot. Begin every match by upgrading Achilles Shot, and use level 2 to obtain Twirling Silver. From there, upgrade Achilles Shot whenever possible, with the exception of upgrading your ultimate. The overdrive on Achilles Shot increases the damage substantially, allowing you to open fights with it or use it to finish or slow a fleeing target. This ability is your best friend. Use it to harass the enemy laner in the early game and to open fights in the end game.

A good strategy in teamfights is to stay 1 bush behind your teammates. This way, when a fight breaks out, the enemy team believes only 2 heroes are there to fight. Once they focus your teammates, step in and go to work. By the time they have realized you are dealing massive damage, it will be too late for them. By then, your Broken Myth or Aftershock will have allowed you to deal enough to kill anyone there or finish them with a well placed ultimate.

Thanks for reading my Crystal Ringo Guide! I hope this helped you, and I'll see you in the Fold!
