Build Tactics Top
The idea of this build is to hit and run, staying out of reach and staying in play as much as possible. It takes patience and tactical positioning. This is not a build for beginners or people who use the build but not the playstyle.
You can lane or jungle. If you lane stay high to avoid being ambushed from the jungle. DO NOT over reach early game. Kill minions and use sonic zoom to attack enemy heroes but stay out of reach. Always hit then fall back, recharge sonic zoom then hit again. The idea is to wear down enemy early then burst them late game. Kills will come at the mid to late game and even earlier if players stubbornly stay in the fight with low health. Use pulse when attacking minions and as a slow if you get ambushed from the jungle.
If jungling, use pulse as a sonar. It detects Minions and heroes. Use
Sonic Zoom early game on minions, late game I have It ready for escaping while using basic attack, in case enemy comes. This way u get first hit on them plus distance for escape. If they turn back, follow and keep bursting/kiting them always keep that safe distance and don't follow too far across map unless u have advantage or can see enemy heroes location in lane.
Best to play in support role, evening the odds or making the advantage going between jungle and lane.
ALWAYs keep farming. The quicker u get to early game domination point the better. You will run out of energy at times but because it's a hit and run playstyle it isn't too bad. If really low I go farm to keep earning money and don't use abilities. If not safe, teleport.
Abilities Top
I build
Sonic Zoom as quickly as I can as you need as much burst as early as you can.
Pulse helps knocking down lane minions quicker by bouncing attacks, slows enemies when chasing you and locates hidden enemies in bushes so I max it too.
Wait for It Is great for initiating ambushes and ganks as it silences and slows and the fight is half over by the time they come back online. Try to use when enemies group together, use choke points in jungle. Can be used in lane if enemy laner is low and escaping. I only go for 2 points on this due to high cool down, meaning I get more out of the point on the other two with quick cool down.
When attacking use
Sonic Zoom from a distance then move back. Rinse and repeat.
If ganking or ambushing,
Wait for It, then
Sonic Zoom, then
Pulse as you move away, basic attacks which burst,
Sonic Zoom,
Pulse, move away basic attack then
Wait for It To finish them off if running away.
Sonic Zoom is great against
SAW and joules abilities as u can move sideways quickly out of it and attack them at the same time, then burst basic attack,
Pulse for the slow and move away. Got to be quick!
Early game Top
Sprint Boots to escape after first using
Sonic Zoom to run away, halcyon potions for sustainability. The idea is while others are heading back to shop, you are still making money. Kill one minion and u have paid for the potion, kill more and you are ahead
First quarter and halftime Top
You want to get to
Tension Bow quickly. This is dangerous early especially if the other team is squishy. Again be patient, don't get locked into fights. Kite, keep that buffer. Know your enemys abilities and the distance of them. I think only
SAW,
Ringo,
Adagio and scarf have the range on u but bursting them after they use an ability and back off and use a potion will wear them down pretty quick. Only
Glaive has the early ability that can trouble u with his knock back. Stay out of reach until he uses it then burst. Once you have
Aftershock you have more sustainability with the life steal and a second burst.
Third quarter, almost there and quick build Domination Top
Add
Travel Boots,
Lifespring and
Kinetic Shield for more sustainability and durability. (A lot of my games with this build have ended here or at quick build domination.)
If you want to go the quick build domination as this rounds you out early as your attack is set, get
Fountain of Renewal and some crystal power.
Eclipse Prism gets you there for a build total of 8650. Which is doable.
Almost there just gets you more defence with completion of
Aegis

Add
Frostburn for crystal power and a passive slow that helps get kills and helps u escape if u can hit an ambusher then sprint.
Journey Boots upgrade rarely happens but when it does, more strength to the builds regen and defence and quicker around the map.
Alt build Top
If you have enemy junglers that are dominating you or two laners on your team, use contraption to control the jungle with mines and flares so they can't pin you down. Lead them into a bunch of mines then burst, they will get nervous about chasing you on your side. Get it after
Aftershock if possible. Gives you bonus regen and help agains minions. Also add
Clockwork so you can spam abilities and not get caught low on energy. The cost is the same as you will replace
Frostburn and
Fountain of Renewal
A bit on defence etc Top
I use
Aegis
Fountain of Renewal and
Journey Boots as you are kiting, you don't fear the basic attacks so high shield to protect against abilities, some health to help with being only a little squishy and not mega squishy, and health regen to sustain farming and kiting.
Aegis has your
Reflex Block for defending against
Ringo,
Adagio, scarf and
Ardan's ultimates. This build is awesome if you have a tanky teammate to burst from behind. I have gone 9/0/7 10/1/14 my last few games with this build behind tanks. Game often ends before build is final so adapt to what you think you need most. One game they kept running away and leaving team mates so I didn't build
Aegis and went straight for
Frostburn for the slow. I only choose this
Vox build if I see the team mates pick heroes that will compliment this playstyle. Don't do it if the other two on your team are squishy. You will get smashed. Good luck. Try it and comment. Remember, stay at distance and burst. Don't abandon team mates. Burst from a distance then run if they die.
