Introduction Top

Alpha hunts and terminates her targets with ruthless precision. No longer bound to the rules of mortality, she engages in battle without fear or caution. Alpha performs well in the jungle and can take down her targets built either weapon or crystal.

Alpha is the most indestructible and powerful heroes of all time and the most highest threat of laners and low hitpoint heroes. He can go into fights without support (he himself is to some extent) and get a triple kill. Burst opponents is not a worry to him. He can both kill heroes in long drawn fights and chase fleeing enemies with so much ease.

Why should you use him??? Here`s the reason Top

As I said alpha is indestructible!!! he takes down everyone from heavy armored tanks to invulnerable snipers. He brings a surprise package to the team.

  • He also has a considerably good defence and sustainability in long drawn fights. He brings fear to the enemies. Once you are well set, the enemies start running away from you.
  • Unlike other heroes, he can easily take down enemies low in HP even when they're near their turrets or miner.
  • With this build he can wander around the fold without fear and even win 2 vs 1 fights.
  • His primary targets are low defence enemies and laners. Thats what he is designed for. But aftershock helps him to take down huge tanks like phinn, ardan, catherine.
  • He is most suitable for players who are busy with their hands and craving to get kills. Using him absolutely demolish the enemy carry.
  • He is the master of chasing down enemies. Once you start playing him you will automatically like him

Abilities Top

Infinite reboot ~ Heroic perk

Instead of dying, Alpha initiates a reboot sequence upon receiving lethal damage, gaining 200-1750 reserve health (based on level). For the next several seconds, enemies can continue to attack her and deal damage. If her reserve is not destroyed during this time, she will reboot to ample health at the same location.

The cooldown for this ability is displayed in place of Alpha's energy bar. Once this bar is full, Infinite Reboot is available. This bar will slide back to zero during the reboot process, indicating the remaining time left before she is restored to health.

Prime Detective ~ A

Alpha scans for enemies along a path. If she scans an enemy, that enemy is slowed and Alpha instantly dashes behind them, dealing damage to the target and all enemies within 4.5 meters (65% damage to minions). This also removes the negative effects of Core Overload (without removing the positive effects), dealing increased damage based on the number of stacks removed.

Core Charge ~ B

Alpha lunges forward, landing a basic attack on her target and fracturing the ground for additional crystal damage in a small area. Each time she uses this ability, she spends 10% of her current health and gains Core Overload for 5.5 seconds, stacking up to 3 times.

Basic attacks reduces the cooldown of Core Charge by 1 second.

Core Overload: Alpha loses 1% of her current health every second, but also increases the damage of subsequent Core Charges and causes her basic attacks to heal her. Basic attacks refresh the duration.

Termination Protocol ~ C

On activation, Alpha begins a self destruct sequence. At the start of this she gains a burst of move speed as well as 400-1000 barrier (based on her level). Immediately afterward, she rapidly loses move speed as her Halcyon core approaches critical mass.

After 3 seconds, or immediately upon her barrier being breached, Alpha explodes. This explosion deals heavy crystal damage to all enemies within 4.5 meters and is lethal to herself.

This ability can only be activated while Infinite Reboot is available. Upgrading this ability reduces the cooldown of Infinite Reboot.

How to use his abilities??? Top

Infinite reboot ~ Heroic perk
  • This is the main reason for alpha`s powers. Always make sure it is active before getting into big fights
  • To make this more effective, make sure you don`t die clearing objectives.
  • Also make sure that you are full in health before getting into fights.
  • You can chase low healthed enemies when this perk is not active.
Prime Detective ~ A
  • Your A is one very good skill. It deals tons of damage and also slows enemies.
  • When going for weapon builds, this seems to be little more weaker than the crystal build. So you will have to aim for using it to chase enemies, reach long distances and make great escapes. never use it in a bush without knowing who`s in there.
  • When going for crystal builds this will be the most damaging and efficient skill. you can use this for taking down enemies in close fights and for the above.
Core Charge ~ B
  • This is the most important of all. This is the main damage dealer in both CP and WP alpha.
  • This skill can do a variety of things. It can be used to reach many enemies and it also gives core overload.
  • Core overload boosts alpha`s A and gives health regen to B. In WP alpha the regen is high but in CP alpha it is mere but along with aftershock, we can see some change.
Termination Protocol ~ C
  • This one skill is really awesome. It deals lots of damage but thats not the main focus in this guide.
  • This deals so much damage but alpha sacrifices herself. So this should be used in extremely low HP and at that point when you know you are gonna die. This makes it much more effective.
  • We can also know the exact time for recharge of infinite protocol by looking at its cooldown. You can also reduce the cooldown by building clockwork and other items.

Why Halcyon chargers???? Top

WE know that Alpha doesnt have energy, But when you go through his perk, Infinite Reboot We can find how important energy and energy regen are. Energy provides reserve health to Alpha and cooldown speed reduces the time for Infinite Reboot. I found this while experimenting him with 6 clockworks in practice mode.

Early game/ Mid game Top

At the start, Alpha is usually very weak and can be killed by anyone, just as opposite as the core game.

Important points to remember at the start of the game :-

  • Never go and search for fights at the start.
  • never ever, ever chase fleeing enemies.
  • Don't go to the lane and mock the enemy laner.
  • Don't fight near enemy turret.
  • stick with your build even if u see your ally changing his. You never will have problem with your own build.

NOTE:- These are applicable till u get an aegis or metal jacket and a travel boots

Core Top

Mid game will be totally in your way. After getting your Aftershock and enough defence, start visiting the lane often. Wait for the enemy laner to get over excited and come a little more towards your side and use Core Charge to reach him. Dont use prime detective for that, use it to get to the laner afterwards when he is fleeing. You dont have to worry much about the jungling activities or ambushes. Its easy to get kills when u stick with your team but it is not that you should not roam alone. Theres nothing to say much about alpha really. Crystal may seem more powerful but you just cant say. It depends on your playing style. Crystal alpha is much more of an assassin but against some enemies like krul, taka, etc. weapon is good as it helps u to use core charge faster due to tornado trigger. Crystal is destructive against low defence team and laners. Try both and see which is more suitable to you.

Gank|Kite
Dont stay at one place and fight. Use core charge and run away. Continue this till he drains out. Very effective with CP build. Play the same way against all your threats

You cant fight with him like others. He gains health barrier so often. So it shields your B making him take no damage at all. Have your team to fight against this guy

Synergy Top

}-Only the Best are given here-{

You are very helpful to him. Not the other way

Tanks|Boosts|Jails
He is very good with alpha. Helps you to stay near your target, he can barricade your enemy in one place. VERY SUITABLE!!!!

Ultimate guardian|Total Support
The best combo you can get. He can keep your enemies with you always. He can shield you and also can do real damage

Don't believe this blindly......... TEAM COORDINATION IS MORE IMPORTANT

NOTE: this shows data without considering any enemy hero's defence.

Made a big mistake, so please replace WP with CP in the graph
