 Ardan Doesn't pose much of a threat. His gauntlet and vanguard gives his team the advantage. As always reflex block out of his gauntlet and you will surely be fine.

 Celeste Most Celeste players i see focus on heavy crystal damage, you will out range her early game, if you get damaged by her stars don't be scared you can take it back by killing some minions with your lifesteal. Beware of her stars going super nova it can kill you really easy.

 Ringo Beware of his Hellfire Brew neither if going CP or WP. I don't play against a Ringo a lot. SOOO i don't know what to rate him.

 Fortress His wolves can't do nothin to you. Initiator so avoid.

 Phinn Really slow, slower than you ofc. Beware of his Anchor(both of his abilities A and C)which can stun and pull you to his team mates.

 Vox Easy to burst down he needs to be close to apply Resonance to you, to burst you down, beware of his Ultimate he could be the initiator.

 Krul I really don't die a lot from Krul he always need to be close and apply a lot of stacks to be much of a threat, Roadie Run out of his face(roll away not run away with it) because he might have a shiversteel/his passive which makes your run useless, and his stun that's why you have your reflex block for.

 Skaarf I don't get really killed by a Skaarf but as normally builds a lot of CP, his ultimate gives you time to burst him with basic attacks and finish with Roadie Run.

 Joule Her stun can be quickly avoided with Roadie Run, beware of her Thunder Strikes if going Weapon and beware of her Big Red Button if going crystal can kill you.. and your whole team.

 Adagio Ada-Gio can slow you down,stun and give his teammates a buff.

 Glaive Beware of his afterburn can really put you in really tight situations, near his allies or turrets, that what makes him pose much of a threat

 Rona WP can't burst you down really quickly, but when going CP you better be prepared of the sudden damage her ultimate wont steal a lot of health doe.

 Skye She has been ridiculous with CP and she can rek u if you don't have shield u better be prepared m8.

 Petal She has been upgraded to a healer and a damage dealer beware of her ultimate reflex block doesn't seem to block the damage she deals which is good.... for her.

 Catherine SAW's worst nightmare, The Distrupter, can stun, silence and reflect damage to you, and your whole team in team fights. I usually buy a reflex block to counter her stuns, but beware of her silence, puts your team in a lot of problems in teamfights.

 Taka Good assassins attack with their roamers/initiators /tanks, they always get me with that. You need to reflex block to cancel the stun from the roamer mostly (CATHERINE -Your worst nightmare) this goes for all the assassins as well as Blackfeather.

I created this guide to prove that SAW is not the slowest hero in Vainglory, Phinn is lol(yea right). This guide will have 3 chapters

Strategic use of abilities Top

These are SAW's abilities, and they are Roadie Run, Suppressing Fire, Mad Cannon. There are alot of ways on using them, so lets check them out.



This is SAW's entire mobility early game. Most people use their ability points on which is bad for either WP or CP SAW, why you may ask? i will answer this question later. This ability focuses on your target's missing health which is perfect for fleeing enemies.


SAW's eternal doom will first of all slow you, which makes you free to ganks,stuns,slows EVERYTHING.Why is it bad to CP or WP? Answer:Low damage and the worst ability at team fights it just slows you down and give the opposing team the advantage they need to probably take the gold mine and destroy your turret.


This ability mostly works on CP but since you currently are in a WP build right know lets talk about how could it work on WP. works just like which deals additional damage to target's missing health, it can be either used as a secondary to your roadie run, because it deals additional damage to target's missing health.
