Item Choices

Intro Top

Welcome to my Celeste guide. Celeste is any excellent long-ranged hero. She can really lay down some thick crystal damage with her abilities that will send chumps running. This build is about keeping your distance and using your Heliogenesis to control/push the lane, lay down thick damage from distance during team fights, and lead to your team to victory. I thoroughly believe that Heliogenesis is one of the best Non-Ult abilities in the game. It's all about timing and foresight. Place your Heliogenesis where you think your opponents WILL be by the time it lands. You can use this for 1v1, team fights, chasing, and escaping. Mastering this ability is essential. I will not be covering Celeste basics because you should already have it down by now if your reading this guide. THIS ISN'T A GUIDE FOR BRAND NEW PLAYERS. Please feel free to leave any comments or suggestions. There will be more builds to come. Add me IGN: StrawHatManny

Beginning Game Top

Simple. Energy Battery so you can release Heliogenesis when needed and two Halcyon Potion. FARM. FARM. FARM. Literally make it your goal to kill more minions than ever before. Don't waste time in meaningless Hero engagements if you don't have to. Focus on the farm. Work that lane. That's your money maker with Celeste.

Early Game (5-10 Mins) Top

Ok so basically early game is easy with Celeste. Manage the lane, don't over extend, and watch for Ganks. Focus on building the first Shatterglass ASAP. Followed by getting a Void Battery, Sprint Boots, and Lifespring when you can. This will keep you mobile in the lane, a fair amount of energy reserves, and a decent amount of health regen. SOMETIMES. If needed I will add a Crystal Infusion at this time after I get all these items. but it's still early so not necessary at all.

Mid Game (10-20 Mins) Top

NOW it's time to bring the pain and crush CHUMPS. I love this time frame in the game. This is the time period to establish yourself as a force to be reckoned with in the match. Once you completed Void Battery, Sprint Boots, and Lifespring. Next start on Piercing Shard to prepare for the eventual Broken Myth. This will give you some serious OP Crystal Power damage and that my friends is no myth (No Pun Intended). Remember this build is all about rapid and heavy hitting Heliogenesis. Unless your opponents properly counter they're gonna get mind-screwed. Celeste can really mess with people's mind if your positioning and timing is on point. Never forget that the beautiful mage Celeste is as squishy as she looks. So positioning and timing is critical. Try to always think a few steps ahead of your competition. Once you have the Broken Myth it's time to get Clockwork. This will drop the Heliogenesis cool down to less than a second. This will be very beneficial for you. And reducing the cooldown on your Solar Storm as well. (EDIT 1.2: You can replace the Clockwork and get Eve of Harvest instead if you want to add some Sustain to this build. The cool down isn't major on Heliogenesis. So that's something to consider as well. Next quickly finish getting Travel Boots and Fountain of Renewal. These two support items are pretty self explanatory. Crystal Infusion as needed.

Final Build Top

Final Build. Now this is where you put the finishing touches as you continue to pummel whatever chumps you face before you. Finish up your Journey Boots and I recommend you stay with Crystal Infusionwhen you can. The final icing on the cake on this build is another Shatterglass. Now honestly.. This is always my final item cause you want to show them how big your Crystal shaft is. This is it. Nothing too fancy but this build will inspire fear in many of your opponents. This build is very capable of 1v3 situations.

Final Thoughts Top

Just for your FYI. I've been playing VG on the IOS for quite sometime now. I haven't gone above Skill Tier 6. Mainly cause I haven't pushed to do so. I spend most of my time studying VG strategy and training my friends on how to play. I quite experienced with Vain and MOBAs in general. NOW TO BE HONEST..... This guide isn't complete. I plan to add more {Celeste]] builds, other hero builds, add a beginners guide section for Celeste, threat meter, and the whole nine yards. This is just the start up I set up for a continuing strategy and support on my favorite hero Celeste and etc. Please VOTE if you like and spread the word. I play on NA servers. I have multiple accounts but add me on KingManny31. Its my most used and training account. Like I said there is a lot more to come. You will see this guide frequently updated. Keep training guys and feel free to add me or message me. Constructive criticism is always appreciated. THANKS VG players, VGfire, and SEMC!! (8/27/2015 - Update Coming Soon. Please vote if you read the guide. Much appreciated. Constructive criticism and Comments Welcome)

Edit 1.2 - Added Eve of Harvest as Sustain option instead of Clockwork. Still debating if second Shatterglass should be built before Broken Myth. I'll need more testing and feedback. Comments are appreciated. 9/21/2015 - New Update Coming!
