Joule Joule's stun and ultimate are something to watch out for. Kiting will do well, however, because Joule is melee and there is effort required on her part to really damage you.
3
Adagio Adagio is a bit of a pain, especially his ultimate and his fire slowing you. You can sacrifice Clockwork for a Crucible for situational purposes if he bothers you.
4
  No Threat
5
Petal Her sustain and especially her exploding munions are a threat. You can't kite her, so engage when she is low on health and/or has already used her ultimate.
5
Fortress Bleeding damage and his slow will make you dinner for this pup.
6
Catherine Her stun and shield are especially annoying. Engage her once her shield is down.
6
Glaive Afterburn knockback can put you in an unwanted position. Watch out for Bloodsong lifesteal as well.
6
Vox Resonance damage and silencing ultimate can make short work of you if he gets the jump.
6
Ringo Other Ringos can be a problem to deal with, especially if they build weapon and are able to get a few hits in on you.
6
Skaarf Fan the Flames, his fireballs and goop as well as his ultimate are enough to slowly barbecue you.
6
Celeste Her stun and ultimate can leave you defenseless.
6
Ardan Particularly a pain if he zones you, plus he has a lot of health, making him a problem to break down.
7
SAW Using Mad Cannon, Roadie Run, and spun-up basic attacks to burst you is just target practice for this guy.
7
Rona Into the Fray and Red Mist stack damage quickly, plus Serpent's Mask sustain on WP builds.
7
Skye WP will kite you to death, and CP will burst you down. Maintain an item edge early- to mid-game and you will come out on top.
8
Koshka Stun and high damage output will mess with you frequently. Pick up a Crucible if you are troubled by this kitty assassin.
8
Taka Unpredictability and crit builds especially are hard to deal with.
9
Krul High survivability, sustain, and damage output with the right builds are an obstacle that cannot be overcome.

Introduction Top

Ringo is most often played as a Lane Sniper and mostly weapon items. This guide retains core attributes of Ringo with one key difference; instead of weapon power, I have used crystal items and crystal power (CP) for this guide. Feel free to make modifications to this guide if you are inclined to; this is a tested baseline for other variations. That said, this guide is for moderately experienced/established players.

Early Game and first items Top

At the start, purchase an Energy Battery and potions. Energy Battery will help with sustain and energy recharge. Take Achilles Shot for level 1, then follow the ability path listed above. Farm in lane, watch the brush for junglers, and assist your allies in jungle only when necessary. Rush for Eve of Harvest and Sprint Boots by the onset of mid-game.

Mid-Game Top

Upgrade to Travel Boots and begin taking objectives in jungle with your allies. Once you are at Level 6-8, start making a real effort to push toward the enemy base. Begin building to Aftershock and Alternating Current, both great items that enhance Ringo's damage output.

Endgame and Dealing with Jungle Threats Top

Pick up Clockwork*, upgrade your pre-existing Travel Boots, and get a Heavy Prism for building Shatterglass. This will top off the build and make Ringo a killing machine, if not the carry.

*Update: If you want to troll with Achilles Shot and have more poking power, You can opt for Frostburn in the place of Clockwork.

Significant jungle threats include Glaive, Koshka, Fortress, Rona, and Krul. Dealing with these heroes requires skill and precision, as well as caution. If you see one coming up for a gank, Achilles Shot them quickly and utilize Twirling Silver to increase the distance between you and your assailant.

In a teamfight, many of these heroes are played as high damage dealers, with the exception of Fortress, who is more an initiator. Therefore, the active strategies pertain to all excluding Fortress.

Start off with a Hellfire Brew to put lots of damage onto them and burn them. Use Twirling Silver to stack up rapid-fire power, and rope them in with Achilles Shot as needed.

Pushing into the enemy base, I most often use Achilles Shot and Twirling Silver to silence turrets with speed. Reserve Hellfire Brew for the Vain Crystal and use the above teamfight tactics when the need arises.

Finishing Touches Top

Thank you for reading this guide and enjoy using this and variations for your benefit. I have made other guides for CP Vox and strategy for Koshka. I am PaulOfTerror, and enjoy!
