I've been trying out lane characters unsuccessfully lately. Gave ringo a shot, did decent, but I couldn't keep up with those insane high skill tier laners & ganks. Tried adagio for a few games but I just wasn't feeling it. Used to be a great WP saw but... Well... He doesn't do as well up here, lmao. Really need to learn a laner to expand my hero varietyZ

So now that I'm trying petal out, I could use some advice on builds. should I go for a breaking point build? Shiversteel?? Tension bow? Or all crystal? Petal is a bit confusing because I've seen a variety of good looking strategies with her. All crystal only looks effective if the munions can stay alive, but all WP completely ignores the crucial munions. Currently leaning towards a breaking point - shiversteel or crucible - travel boots - eve of harvest - frost burn build (not in that order) because I like the idea of building on petal's sustainability, CP, & long term WP damage. Hybrid builds seem like the way to go for her, but I'm not positive yet.

Any thoughts or personal experiences on the best petal builds?? (The guides aren't really giving me clear direction since they all say different things).
Skill tier- usually floating around in simply amazing

What I do for Petal is go WP.
I get Tension Bow, Breaking Point, Boots, Crucible/Bonesaw [Situational], and Shiversteel. Then always try to carry minion candy with me unless it comes down to the fact I just have to survive. (Not in that order) I usually get Boots, Tension Bow, Shiversteel, BP, Bonesaw/Crucible then candy.

I used to do a mixed-build, but then Frostburn was nerfed as was BP, so I decided it'd be best to just stick to weapon power.

The reason I get Shiversteel is for kiting and chasing down assassins, specially Koshka, and avoiding Glaive.

When playing against Glaive I make sure I get shiversteel fast. I can activate it, then hit him, and run. Hit him again, and run. Then usually have him low enough health to finish him off.
But be careful early game, Petal is always super squishy. This would work for jungle or Lane, too. I actually prefer jungle.
