I've heard that these represent your place inside your tier (e.g. Not bad, Decent-ish). Is this true? Is there anything above gold?

List of the current known skill tiers:
Ask again later
Getting There
Not Bad
Decent-ish
Pretty Good
The Hotness
Simply Amazing
Pinnacle of Awesome
Vainglorious

The bronze, silver and gold statues lets you know how close you are to the next skill tier.

For example, if you are currently in Pretty Good Gold, that means you are going to reach The Hotness Bronze soon.
