Double Buying

I noticed the other day you can buy double (or triple, quadruple, etc.) of any skill. but does doing so really give double the effect or is it (more or less) a glitch?

I figured it out for myself, but what I meant was if you buy, say two "Frostburn" abilites, would it actually account for the second purchase or ignore it.

I think Sasquatch means stacking. I don't think the passive for Frostburn stacks though (or does it?)

Yea I didn't know it had a name. I'm not sure about the passives' but it works real well otherwise
