Dear Community,
This guide is dedicated for players with 6000 wins and below.

By learning and understanding from this guide, i believe truthfully that you would have become a player that is basically two cuts above the rest.

To teach the community to through a lengthy tutorial seems to be highly ineffective and bothersome for everyone. Hence the best is to teach players the do's and don'ts as well as some strategy for progressive playing. Hence this tutorial will be concise but sharp and straight to the point.

Do & Don't

1. Do not use lane or captain heroes, and do not attempt to be at the lane to farm at any point in time until the late game where your laner has his items maxed.

2. As a player at any point in time your items are full, do not farm anymore. Let the other players fill their goldbag and items.

3. Do not steal your allies gold at lane especially when you are not the laner.

4. Do not have more than one laner hero in any game match up as its highly unfavorable when you meet assassins and strong players. Simply because lane heroes dies easily.

5. Do not play as if you are somebody, especially when you aren't; charging in without your allies and doing solo plays are impossible to win and leads to feeding. Most of the professional players try not to do solo play unless in exceptional situations.

6. If you liked Tom Cruise in the Edge of Tomorrow then apply it here, play not to die, and run as fast as you can to avoid feeding.

7. Do not feed. Because feeding leads you down the path of losing for obvious reasons. Each hero death gives so much gold these days that its impossible to catch up with simple minion farming. Each death accelerates your next death for yourself and the team, and accelerates feeding.

8. Do not do minion stealing in the jungle. Many noobs, basically tries to get gold by taking all minions. At times when an ally needed a heal and that heal gets stolen away by another ally who did it for gold; this may cause him to die if there is a sudden engagement from the opponents.

9. Do not overload yourself with tons of damage items especially when you are not the laner. Unless you have a history of having zero deaths in an evenly matched game, then basically you can afford the risk. Even so, against strong teams, there is a strong chance that you will be hunted first as an easy kill and to lower their team damage.

10. Do not lane, when you have yet to master and become expert in the jungle. Do not Captain before you learn how to lane. Decide which is your best role, and go for it base on the following criteria for assessment:

Laner:
A. Are you able to 1vs3 at lane?
B. Do you tend to have higher gold compared to the other top laner in most games within 5 mins of the game?
C. Do you usually have 3 deaths or lesser when faced with extremely powerful opponents where your jungle allies died tons of times?
D. Is your hero equipped with range?
E. Are you able to Jungle extremely well?
F. Are you tier 6 and above in standard?

Captain:
A. Do you qualify as a pro in jungle?
B. Do you understand lane well enough?
C. Can you survive without dying in the game?
D. Can you avoid not farming at all?
E. Do you know how the role of a captain differs from a laner and jungler?
F. Can you understand the game strategy, heroes capabilities and weakness as well as how all the different items work out for different heroes?
G. Do you know how the items counter one another and how it affects different heroes?
H. Are you able to accept the fact that most of the time, a captain will have the least score in the leaderboard of the game.

11. Do not lead the game, especially when the other players are higher ranking. Learn to follow and listen to their calls and instructions.

12. Do not attack Turrets unless there is a big rally of minions or when there was an ace.

13. Do not do all crystals or all weapon builds in a team.

14. Do not attack the captain or a hero with for enhanced health and armor items as a general rule but note that there will be exceptions from time to time and in different situations.

15. Do not die, do not get aced and do not engage when your allies are not around as much as possible.

16. Do not call the kraken unless there is an ace or unless you are an absolute professional who understand the psychology of players or the timing well enough to score. Note that there are timing for the team to kill the kraken and the timing when the opponents might come in to inspect the area.

17. Do not chase the enemy when they run away usually as a lure or when your allies are in need of help. Many Noobs ignore their allies and chase to claim better scores which eventually lead to their team demise.

18. Do not ignore the jungle or the gold mine. It is usually the case when noobs are present in games.

19. Do not place your priorities above the team unless they are noobs and you need to claim the gold to ensure a win eventually.

20. Generally as a rule of thumb do not buy stormguard or storm crown. It is for certain heroes and for certain situations only. If you have no understanding of when these situations are favorable to have storm guard and when not to, then it will be best if you do not buy these items.

Very Important:
If you are very used to do ARAL style, where all players rush turrets, then:

21. Do not play RANK MODE. Play Casual or play blitz or even 5/5.
22. Do not buy heal items if your allies are noobs, or keep dying for free.
23. Do not as a laner farm in the jungle.
24. Do not as a jungler farm in the lane.
25. Do not as a captain, farm at all.
26. Don't be a jackass, moron, idiot. Trying to get excessive points because you are not ranked on top. And you are trying to beat the system to get the top team scorer. You do this, everyone starts to play the same game and trust me, one of your allies or your entire team will perish.
If you are top scorer is because you are killing heroes and not because you are doing extra laning later game.

Things to Do:

1. Have Defense, if you want your captain to support you with heals. There is no point for a captain to waste gold and a slot to heal a team that dies almost immediately after healing.

2. If you are teamed with noobs, steal as much cash as possible to secure a win. Without gold you cannot do much. If the gold went into wrong hands, they would eventually lead to enhanced feeding. Example, a noob with tons of gold buys tons of damage items and scores quite some kills but continuously get killed. This would mean that the opponents get extra cash on top of the hero kill bonus for killing this player that has a higher kill ratio.

3. Get the gold mine every few minutes when its going to be full.

4. Play with a strategy. If you have no understanding of what is a strategy, then take 3000 games to get that understanding, or you can invite me to give you a full understanding in 5 games of coaching that takes about an hour.

5. Take the jungle, and the positions.

6. Always have two player in jungle and one player in lane. Unless there are three laner heroes in the opponent team and they are rushing the turret and your ally cannot keep up with the weapon power. But, do not go in and start farming the minions.

Help by attacking the players and not the minions.

7. As a captain, collect bonus by following your team members closely.
If your laner lanes well follow the laner but hide in the bush.
If not, follow your jungler ally and let him have all the farm.

8. As a laner, be prepared to do 1vs3 lane fighting without help.
Help in the jungle as much as possible. And give your allies a chance to farm once your items are full.

9. As junglers including captains:
Jungle is your responsibility. If you go to lane to farm you are just a big noob, unless they are noobs wasting away lane gold.

Gold mine is your responsibility instead of the laner, do not expect the laner to come help with the gold mine, it is yours to obtain.

10. Learn to be flexible, and learn to not follow recommended items because, they are rather limited to general use and will not help you in most games, since every game has its own mechanics and situations.

11. Respect your allies, by following the laner and jungle farm rules. Disrespect them and they will show you the same or when they find you a noob and may decides to take everything from you.

12. Lastly go as a team and if you are that solid that you can really 1v3 WITHOUT DYING, do so with care because that is what i always do when required and i have over 9000 games of wins and experience to guide me through, not to mention the total games i had played.
