(New Player) sorry! How can i use the card bought?!

I bought a couple Heros with some ice, but when i hit play it still does the random character selection?? i wanna play my cards i bought. Im new to this and I'm sorry again for a noob question

Cards don't give characters. Cards are for skin crafting.
You need to buy the hero you want to play.

Equip the skin?

If you want the skin, go to the craft skins page and find the skin you want to craft.
Tap it you need to craft the lower tiers before you can craft the higher tier version of the skin.

nono, i think i worded it wrong I'm sorry, i actually bought the hero Phinn from heroes page and I've got no clue how to use hi in game, my bad

Oh you need to play the play mode.
Don't tap the one that says BATTLE ROYALE.
That game mode gives you random heroes every time.

In the play mode, all you have to do is find Phinn in the hero list and lock him as your hero.

No, this is the second game mode on the play screen.
The one you are referring to is ranked.
